Without it and having Ukraine with offensive weapons, the West could roll into Russia as if Mexico with Chinese and Russians weapons were in Mexico. Putin really loves to be recognized as a part of the WEST when it joined the G8, and even suggested Russia become a NATO member; but doing so would be against the US's national interests as NATO really needs an anointed enemy in Europe to justify its existence. russia needs to put more anti air near critical infrustructure. and i mean anti drone and missles batches near every one of them. they should also come up with a cheap and small guided anti drone missle that can be fitted to existing vehicles and have no less than 6 small missles, or have one dedicated anti drone vehicle that would hold up to 20 small missiles that shouldnt be that expensive and that have a target range of 1.5-2km since drones are never really fast and fly slow. the radar should be able to identify it within 4-10km to see if its a drone or not which gives ample time to shoot it down when its in range. that way no drone or atacm missles can get through or storm shadows.
