It didn't hit me till now(so maybe Im just stupid)but,I just realized that all the songs in AVPSY have a sad tone to them,because of the fact that it's the last time that the whole gang(besides Bonnie)will be together.This whole production really was just made so the fans would have closure and would get to have a real ending,and not an abrupt stop.This is why I love Starkid,they really care about us all.

It was also just shortly after the last HP movie came out, so it was, in a way, a good bye to the series as well. (Little did they know, it would continue on)

When AVPSY ended, it felt like the real ending because it was the third time Harry Potter has ended. :'(

I only have one bone to pick with starkid about avpm and avps. In avps, lupin and sirius leave on Harry's firebolt. But then, he has it back in avpm. Tbf, he probably just got it back

I have no problem in saying that this is probably the best song Starkid ever made. They poured their hearts and souls into it (no pun intended, horcruxes) and they summarized the feelings of every HP fan in the world not just with this show, but with this one beautiful song.

In my opinion this is honestly the most beautiful song starkid has ever come up with. It fits perfectly into the story of Harry Potter.
It's not the complete end of StarKid. Maybe for Darren, but it's only the end of the A Very Potter Series. As Hagrid said, the end will come, but not today. So it's not over yet.

From 2:20 - 2:46 hit me hard the most. I’m really sad about how they won’t do another “very potter series” but there’s more to come. You can always go back and rewatch them all! And they have improved so much with all their recent ones! I’m so proud ♥️

GOD! I am an idiot. I was listening to this while reading The Fault in Our Stars. first of all I usually cry when I listen to this or read that book. So of course I was SOBBING. just added to the tear stains in that book. But this is one of my all time favorite Starkid songs!!

This is such a sad meaningful song. It's a tie between this, when Harry starts singing "back to hogwarts" and the 19 years later scene when he says "now you get to go to hogwarts, now you get to go to school" on being the saddest

When they sang that song in AVPSY I literally cried my eyes out. I was so fucking done. The only time I cried as hard as in AVPSY was probably during Les Mis.

This song always makes me so sad, It's so beautiful, and so relevant right now... and.... starkid is just such a huge part of my life, and this was the final show about Harry Potter, and it was also probably the last time (almost) all of them would be together as a whole... and it just made me think of growing up and how you have to move on from friendships and everything... and when this song was being sung and I was watching it live I was just bawling my eyes out.
This song and I Was are probably my favorite song on the soundtrack, despite how they made me cry. It's just beautiful and I know it's going to mean a lot to a lot of people. (Much like Not Alone does.) I just love it.

Sobbed like a baby when I finished the script whilst listening to this song... I can honestly thanks Starkid with my whole heart on giving me some of my best friends, getting me back up when I was sad and always making me laugh. I owe my life to them and this was pretty darn supermegafoxyawesomefox.

Such a beautiful song! Damn Starkid has successfully made 3 musicals that capture the essence of HP and made it a totally awesome feel-good comedy musical with a heart. Starkid fan for life! And as a guy, I can honestly admit that I cried when reading the script and listening to this at the same time.

I totally lost it when i heard this song. It moved me so deep not even just because of the HP relation but on a more personal level. They are truly an amazing group of people
this song gets me through the worst of times. death, breakups, grief of lost childhood, etc. it makes it feel almost good instead of terrible.

I love this song, in fact, in my opinion, APSY has one of the best Starkid soundtracks. I know people don't really like it because it was a staged reading instead of a musical., but if they had more time to do it this musical would have been amazing
