They are always going to crave each other and that would be such a distraction if she were with Bill. Plus they are like married now by Vampire standards and Eric really really really loves her

you know if the bill and sookie lovers don't want to see her end up with eric then they should just be happy that in real life bill and sookie are engaged.
perhaps if you read the books you would be more of an eric fan. everyone who has becomes an eric fan. they changed eric so much in the tv series. you will probably change your mind about eric in season 4 since it'd be based on book 4 which is when everyone turned into an eric fan.
