Yeah I’m kinda freakin out
As for my for my pond in thailand. We have about 9 months of weather in the 90's. Total sun. Then about 3 months of cooler, partly cloudy weather and big rain. We pump ground water into the pond about every 3 or 4 days...and that takes all day. Huge pond...about 75 meters long and 25 wide. It's cheaper here than in California..though. Pump and air conditioner for the house, fans and 2 refrigerators...total about 120 bucks a month
wow thats a really big savings! during the summer and spring im constantly filling up my pond . California is way to high on power its super expensive here. but its all apart of owning a pond i guess. Thailand sounds like a great place to visit. Maybe you can post your pond so I can check it out?
DO NOT BUILD A NEW POND JUST BEFORE SUMMER! IDK if I have a leak or if it's just the Florida heat. I don't think I have the leak but damn it's freaking me OUT!
Well I’m actually filling my pond now. The evaporation is crazy. All the sudden it’s 85 degrees here in California and I’m loosing like 2-3 inches everyday. Also if you have a waterfall you’ll loose more water to evaporation. Don’t sweat it just keep filling it up it’ll slow down as temperatures cool. Better if you have an auto fill you won’t notice it much.
