So does pushrod engine have no camshaft?

It has one cam in the middle that "pushes" the rods lining the block. These rod actuate the rockers which open the valves. Hope this helped! I'm sure there's a good vid somewhere.

Why am I overheating but no smoke or anything just a litle steam out of the oil fil and oil dipstick hole and around the front little hose but holds liquid and bubble gurgles and temp reads high no change in performance or anything just seems to over heat where should I start

If you have good coolant levels then you’d thermostat may be stuck closed or water pump has failed. Little late, sorry.
