acura mdx won't start, blown fuse

07-2014 acura Honda electrical/fuse/wires/won't start problems. metal was rubbing on wires which caused electric spark steering wheel column to smoke then dashboard went blank car shutdown.

Nice video! I'll look out for this. My dash lights cut out but I can start it and it shuts off right away.
1. Fuse blew for the reverse lights. I replaced it and the car started up without a problem.
- Issue was that the DRLs stayed on and the dash lights as if it were in ACC position. (has me thinking ignition switch). Had to put on a remote battery cut-off to prevent drainage.
2. Fuse blew for SH-AWD system and the same symptoms as (1) occurred. I replaced the fuse and there is no drain on the battery. All is fixed for now and everything works as it should.

My man, having the same issue with my 07 MDX.I had a the windshield replaced the day before, then we got alot of rain the same day,went to start the car and smoke came out of by the steering wheel. Now the dash light comes on but the car won’t start. I had a feeling it was fuse issue but definitely thought had something to do with the new windshield and water seeping in somehow.
I’m definitely going to try what you suggested and keep you posted but can’t thank you enough for making this video brother.
