From my point of view, this Maxoak K2 powerbank has a major constraint not mentionned in your video. It cannot be charged other than through a wall outlet. It is expressly indicated in the documentation "The K2 power bank can not be recharged by solar panel or car charger". This takes away a lot of interest from the product in terms of mobility.
I've heard that this doesn't have a USB type C connector which would make it useless for newer laptops. Any opinions on this?

charging times calculation is totally wrong! from a battery to another battery charging efficiency can be upmost 70%. That will also depend on the battery level of the device being charged. If you iPhone's battery is around 10 %, charging efficiency will be high interns of spent amps to charged amps. However, if your device battery level is 80% and you wanna make it 100%, charging efficiency will be low. What I mean is, you can't charge a 10000 mah battery 5 times by a 50000 mah power bank.
REPAIR TIP: I love the battery but like all modern electronics the weak point are the mechanical connectors. I recently struggled to replace the charging connector because there are no disassembly diagrams or instructions online. Taking it apart is easy: (1) Although you could just use a sharp knife to wedge under and then pop off the grey plastic end caps, I found it a little easier to first (2) use a sharp knife to remove the two black adhesive bars on the sides of the battery (3) then remove the six (6) screws, 3 on each side, which normally are hidden by the adhesive tape bars. (4) then pop off the grey end cap(s). The electronics will be loose after removing the screws so you can slide out the ic board to re-solder any components that came loose or need to be replaced. Obviously, if the charging connector goes bad, and mine did after a couple years, the battery is just a brick.
I have just been told by the sales person of Maxtar in China, that when the cable adapter and pins fail, you can go on line and try and find a supplier for these parts, Maxtar buy in from another manufacture and don't care, about providing spare parts. It sold with a 1 year guarantee including the adapter cable from the Power bank to your lap top. Suggest those who buy one of these also buys spare parts, as Maxtar have no interest in supplying parts once they sell to a importer/seller distributor. I have stopped buying these with the solar charger backup due to there policy of telling me to go and search on line. I have found a new manufacture which does not have these issues, and comes with 260 watt inverter, to plug any device in. good luck
It's far more than 6 times for smartphones. If you work it out the way you say, then a 5000mah smartphone can be charged roughly 10 times, and the average smartphone is less than 5000mah.
I have three of these units that I have used to charge three different laptops. Then they stopped charging out of my 20v port. I can still charge out of my usbs, but now I cannot charge out of 20v port? I have tried three different computers on all of these banks, an Acer, a Dell, and an HP and none of them charge anymore. Also tried multiple cords. Does anybody have a solution?
Press and hold down the power button for +30 seconds to reset the charge controller for the ports. I've had this exact problem. It'snot documented but this has worked for me so far. Going on 3 years with this battery pack as a ups now, running my phone, laptop, and a usb lamp.

mAh means nothing if the voltage is not defined.

I've travelled with this on European flights in my hand luggage

@@Jerubale Have you been able to charge directly from solar without using an inverter..??
how long does it take to charge ?
A FEW HOURS I THINK
About 5-6 hours from zero.
Cannot charge Mac laptop
charge the powerbank using itself
18 pounds?????? you sure you didn't meant maybe 3-4 pounds??
I see it doesn't support MacBooks
This model does not, but we have a NEW one developed just for mac books and all Apple devices with there own USB adaptors, not by mains AC
No solar charging bummer.
major bummer, imagine all that free power.
