I’d recommend watching The Knitty Stew. She is a flight attendant on a Canadian airline and she podcasts at her layover stops about her knitting and her locations.

I have been a dedicated Fruity Knitting fan since they first started and have been with Andrea and Andrew through the challenging situation of losing Andrew to brain cancer and having their daughter, Madeline, take her father's place. They do high quality interviews with knitters and makers from around the world including famous folks such as Kaffe Fassett and Marie Wallin. Andrea is an expert color work knitter and she has introduced me to many designers and patterns. Their UA-cam channel is their full time job, and they don't take sponsorships, thereby making their programming objective and clear. They do always make a plug for their Patreon account, and that's only fair since that's their main income source. If you haven't taken in a Fruity Knitting episode, there are more than 100 to choose from. Enjoy!

Roxanne RIchardson’s Casual Friday podcast is one of the highlights of my week. She usually starts with “tidbits” which are knitting/fiber related items of interest - could be artwork, a video or podcast, an article or webinar on topic. Then she talks about her projects. The awesome thing about Roxanne is her deep understanding of how knitting works. Her explanations help me understand what might be causing a problem and how to fix it, also how to redesign something if I want to. I also love Arne & Carlos and Andrea Mowry’s video podcasts.

Roxanne Richardson is my number 1 favorite podcaster and online knitting teacher. Her podcasts, Casual Friday, are on Fridays and her Technique Tuesdays are on Tuesdays, lol. She is fascinating. As a certified Master Hand Knitter, she brings a wealth of knowledge to both of her videos. She finds the most interesting tidbits as she calls them. She recently mentioned you Tayler on an episode of her podcast. Suzanne Bryan is also great but she focuses on technique videos mostly with the occasional interview with various knitters. She too is a certified Master Hand Knitter. Thank you for your suggestions b

The knitty stew is fabulous. Also the CreaBea podcast. She talks about her knitting and the process of designing, doesn’t take herself too seriously and just donated the proceeds from November for a new pattern to the fistula foundation. I also enjoy the knitting traditions podcast. Inga is in Norway and includes beautiful footage of her locale.

I'm a big fan of Engineering Knits, Retro Claude, and Jillian Eve, they're historical fiber crafters with a broad range of periods they work with. But lately I've been watching a lot of Little Drops of Wonderful and We Grow Wild, We Grow Wild is out of Spain I believe and her videos are so rustic and lovely. And Little Drops of Wonderful has such a fun personality and it really shows in her videos and that makes the videos so entertaining.

I've come to adore a group of English podcasters who occasionally pop up on one another's channels, and all are hilarious: Bakery Bears, Little Drops of Wonderful, Tales from Cuckoo Land, Stitched by Mrs. D, Back to Blighty. I don't even care much what they're knitting; just like spending time with them! Would also say that Bakery Bears, Fruity Knitting, and Arne and Carlos are on a whole other level of well-produced content that includes so much more than knitting.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned fiberchats. Most of the episodes are interviews with designers, fiberartists who aren’t necessarily designers who sell patterns, and other podcasters, but Irina also shares her own knits. She had a special series interviewing people participating in the 2022 Stephen West MKAL. She interviewed two of my favorite young fiber artists - Eric Speer and Alexandria Masse (the latter recommended by me because I love her work and she is Canadian like me). Also, Rox Knits (Roxanne Richardson) is great for history of knitting and technical advice. Her current project is investigating antique/vintage sock patterns with a focus on heel construction. I’m new to your channel and am really enjoying it. I made a pair of Fire Pit Mitts from some leftover yarn and love them!

There’s a few I’ve not heard of which I’ll definitely add to my list - my top favs id like to share is Chevyrell - Kevin and Ray often mention her too, they have a good friendship I gather - she’s very irreverent - you get to meet her dog, her person, see the stuff room - so heart warming.
I absolutely love knit together with Kim and Jonna - come for knit, stay for the people for sure there. They’ve been podcasting a year and their content is so interesting as they are such different personalities which shows in the knitting.

I would definitely add Youngfolk Knits with Kaci Apple, Knit Together with Kim and Jonna, The Grocery Girls (two of the most generous, caring and advocates for the marginalized of anyone I know.), Knotty Knit Wits (again, very generous and caring). Every once in awhile I hear catty remarks about some podcasters that curse and are a bit crass but they are still faves of mine because they are just being real and we need real. And of course you will always be in my top 5 faves Tayler❤️❤️❤️ Ooooohhhhhh and It Is Sarah (English version), just such a sweet charming personality!!!

I'm a bit late to the party, but thanks for your recommendations! I'm always looking for new knitting podcasts to get into, because (very understandably!) especially smaller podcasts often have quite some time between new videos. My favorite podcasts include yours, The Harry Knit, handmade by florence, Well-Loved Knits, Lisa's Knit Club and this orange couch. The last one I can especially recommend if someone wants to learn more about knitting with plant fibers or knitting for hot weather. I'm also really loving SweetTeaNoShade! I just found it recently and I'm trying to watch it from the beginning, they (Scott & John) started 5 years ago when they had just started knitting and they have over 70 episodes by now!

I'm glad to see Daki, Wool and the Forest on your list! She is lovely. She also did a video last year where she's cooking/canning a Sri Lankan dish and it was so inspiring!
Youngfolk Knits deserves some love too. She also brings a lot of love for her rural home in the Ozarks and lovely videography.

All these knit blogs were new to me! I think I may have seen a couple as "you might be interested in this", but had not clicked. My suggestions: Arne & Carlos--adorable Norwegian knitwear designers.
Kate at The Last Homely House (yes, a Tolkein reference) in England. Fruity Knitting--90 minute videos, but so well done and informative--it starts with Andrew and Andrea, then she becomes widowed and now her daughter blogs with her. And now I watch you too!

Thank you for these suggestions Jennifer. And I LOVE Fruity Knitting. I failed to mention them here, but they are truly a favorite to watch. It's a tragedy about Andrew, but I feel like their daughter is doing such a wonderful job carrying on his legacy.

@@WOOLNEEDLESHANDS Agree so much about Andrew and love that their daughter is picking up where he had to leave off. I wish I had more hours in the day to watch and knit! Now some of your suggestions are coming up in my feed. 😄

I subscribed to a few new ones you mentioned, thanks, they look really good. I do binge on knitting pod cast, I have nothing else to do! 😊Off the top of my head, watch It’s a Sarah. She records 2 videos a week, one in Dutch and one in English. She’s so delightful and so funny! And We grow Wild. She lives in Italy and she is also a delight! Both women are so natural. Knitting the Stash, Melissa is a great teacher, she’s very knowledge about garment construction and her husband is funny! I almost forgot 2 of my favorites! Knit Ink, mother/daughter, it’s about them. And their knits. Then, Fruity Knitting, talk about an amazing knitter!! She is also super knowledgeable in great detail. Her story will bring tears to your eyes.❤

I have one I found that’s new and I really enjoyed. So much so I watch all her episodes/ videos yesterday. Lol
Maressa Made. She just started out and I love her insights but mostly I love her personality. It hits right for my ND brain.

I’m new to your podcast this week. I have watched several and have enjoyed all I’ve seen. I especially appreciate this one as I have a favorite crochet podcaster that I never miss but have struggled finding a knitting podcast to follow. I have subscribed to yours and will check out the ones you have suggested. I laughed at your notions bag episode when you were describing stitch counters and said “it not only has a button, it has a shiny button”🤣. Having 5 sons and 12 grandchildren I could totally relate🤣. I love your bubbly personality. Most of the knitting podcasts I have checked out were just kind of genetic and boring. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more of your podcasts!💗🧶

I love Wool and the Forest; Daki is a gem and her essence is calming. I also love Maressa Made because she is a hoot (much like you), just full of energy and enthusiasm and irreverence... she's super fun. Another podcast I like very much is Hey Brown Betty because she is a lovely soul, and her take on knitting, handwork, yarns, etc is inspirational and inclusive. Knitting a Good Yarn is another good one. The two ladies on that one have a sweet relationship/chemistry, and their conversations about knitting are interesting and informative. (And I agree: both Jack and Sarah are interesting personalities. I totally agree with you on the point you made about watching because of the people as much as for the knitting. Definitely why I watch you all the time. And yes, I would watch you if you spent a whole episode talking about recipes... I love - and make - banana bread, too ❤😄)

Thanks for the suggestions, will definitely check them out. Some podcasts I recently discovered and am enjoying a LOT is
    - The Strikkechick: based in Norway, she is a new pattern designer as well. I love how she talks about her design process and yarn choices. While she is a relatively newer knitter too, she is just so knowledgeable! She tends to do a lot of colourwork and heavily textured knits.
    - High Fiber Knits: what I love most about her is the fact that she is so intentional with her pattern and yarn choices and it also doesn't hurt that she has a super soothing voice. She tends to gravitate towards neutrals and wardrobe stables with a twist and I aspire to be more like her ito intentionality.
Jessica MacDonald: another knitwear designer, I just love listening to her talk about her design process, her attention to detail is simply phenomenal. She tends to do a lot of warm earthy tones and textures as well as simple colourwork.
