I randomly discovered this quirky channel, binge watched most episodes, fell in love with the cute host(s) and realized this channel died all on the same day. Im kinda sad now.

well the internet is fluctuating from anglophobia to anglophilia this channel was operating in an anglophilia phase of the internet the 2020-2022 have been anglophobe as can be seen by the switch in stereotypes from the "hot and fancy" to "knife crime"

Glad it's back now but the whole vibe is completely different. Now it's just flashy over-edited TV material, with a healthy dose of hipster artsy-ness thrown in, rather than that charming home brewed youtube content we all signed up for in the first place. This episode plays out just like one of those travel/food shows that are a dime a dozen these days. I'll ride this out to see where it goes because I like Kate, but this return has me a bit put off for now.

I agree 100% this is not what I subscribed to. The channel used to be about British culture, this video was just about coffee. Anyone in the us could've done this video as well. This gave me zero insight into British culture, instead I was disappointed with generic coffee culture and the quirkiness of the older video has vanished. It was also drag color wise? Overall grayness to the color of the video. Yes I get that there are a lot of overcast days there, but they always used filters to brighten things up. If this is future of anglophenia, I'll be sad.

Next they'll be telling us how there's McDonald's, pizza delivery, dollar/pound stores, and the Gap in the UK too! Don't tell us how it's all the same, tell us about the quirky differences that make the UK unique!!

no, i must strongly disagree, although everything mentioned here was true. it is just that the focus is too firmly put on coffee instead of leaving more space for the girl's hypnotising rear.

Welcome back, Kate! :) appreciate the effort that you put in to this video, it had great potential. You showed the e'er trendy Shoreditch area, which was nice, and also talked about coffee. The only thing I felt was lacking was a bit about how coffee culture in the UK is different than coffee culture in the US. If that had been there, then it would've been much more in theme with anglophenia. I do also miss the gentle, quirky humor of previous episodes. nice, I'd love to see more videos like that where you explore some special part of London, England, British Isles... because the little nice things are what make me happy (different types of coffee, some meals, buildings...)
Her voice seems different. Less cutesy, deeper and more serious.
Because this was filmed outside of what is probably a studio she usually films in with a microphone and little to no background noise.
Is this TV-esque vibe is only for this episode or is it intended that the whole format changed into this type of video? Because the old UA-cam style and uniquely informative video specifically about the UK is the one that made me subscribe to this channel.
