So there are four other ways around the Wanted level, all of which require hauling ass, dodging patrols and roadblocks as you go until you’re able to make it back to the planet’s main city 1) Sneak past the patrols and find the corrupt official you can bribe to pay off your bounty 2) Sneak aboard your ship and locate an Imperial marker in orbit, dodging patrols of Imperial spacecraft until you can find one and reset your bounty 3) Survive in space long enough to jump to lightspeed and go to a different planet 4) Fight the Imperials in space long enough to face a big cruiser and destroy it, calling off the search

Why is that concept so bizarre? Troopers could very well think someone else captured you and that the base called off the search because of it. Seems plausible.
I don't think the most powerful military force in the UNIVERSE will just forget about the woman they were hunting five minutes ago. I knows it's meant to be a gameplay thing, but it's just dumb. As if not one of them is gonna call up and be like "Hey why did we call off the search for that woman with the fucked up lookin cat?" "We didn't." "... Oh."
Well, this is kind of a lie. There are several ways to remove your wanted level, this is just one of them. You can also escape to town and bribe an official. Leave the the system. Or slice into a different terminal to clear your wanted level. The Death Trooper base just has some good items. But at the same time it is an underwhelming event. Nit sure why this reviewer apparently can't tell the truth, but there it is.
Personally I believe the karma system in True Crime Streets of LA is far superior than this one since being good or bad truly affects whether or not you get either the best ending, the typical end,or the bad finale. Even the cutscenes will be different depending on your karma and if you won or lost in a story mission. If you're a good cop,you will have access to the best ending, and the most direct missions to the good ending. If you're a bad cop, you'll get the worst path to the bad ending, and you'll also be attacked by armed citizens as well as cops. If you go the gta route then you'd be attacked by cops and swat for doing lethal takedowns. This game came out in 2003,with the sequel True Crime:NYC in 2005. Before sleeping dogs, the title was supposed to True Crime : Hong Kong as the 3rd entry but it was canceled by Activision Blizzard then sold to Square Enix, after several years we would finally get the original map and style but with the changes from Square added on. Basically the parts of the game that were already made and functional were kept but were added on by Square Enix, which was renamed to Sleeping Dogs. That game was amazing but the fundamentals were there,it's just a shame we haven't seen any type of game similar to those first 3. I know in Outlaws it's slightly different since it's not in-depth to the extreme, but it's only a faction based system rather than just overall player/pro tag notoriety. Think of the early AC games when you are too aggressive or caught being in restricted zones or causing illegal actions/disturbing guards/npcs. You gain a notoriety level and will be spotted easily depending on how much you're wanted for. Bribing public speakers, news,or taking down posters would reduce it but just imagine is outlaws had a similar system to those older ac games. I know this is long but just imagine what could've been done if we had a hybrid wanted system for your syndicate faction and your character karma.
Man this is a dark time to be a Star Wars fan. 2017-2019 was rough but this is even worse. I just don't think I can trust Disney to have a decent output of content. I now either don't care or am worried about every single Star Wars release. Its depressing.

@@brunoderkameramaa8005 i love warhammer, but things are getting iffy with it too. they made female custodes and attempted to gaslight fans by saying they always existed
Honestly the game is fine, they have a lot of systems where if they make a sequel there is potential to expand on it but as it is Outlaws is a 6/10 it did what it set out to do and it’s a fun game like it or hate it its players choice
I personally think it works pretty well in the context of the beurocracy of the empire. In the middle of a search they get called off and their just not fussed
I mean, it kinda makes sense though. We’ve seen her happen in a new. Hope were Han Solo told the troopers to stop going after them and divert troopers to other locations until they finally realize that the person speaking over the microphone wasn’t their original dispatcher. In the fact that takes place kind of like in another galaxy and in the future, it kind of makes sense that you’ll be able to hack into the system and be able to disperse the hunt for you. GTA five is based on realistic earthly setting. When you’re being chased by the cops, you can’t just go to a police headquarter or military base and call off the bounty
This also applies with factions and stuff to if you get the lowest rank possible with a faction they will send a hit squad that will literally chase you everywhere u go-
The way you describe it i dont see a big problem. Sounds like a cool system. Sure it doesnt make that much irl sense but its 1) star wRs and 2) a video game
Then if the wanted system get max level your force to stealth the base if your caught bring going loud you can't change the wanted system and have to hide out of the solar system temporarily
And then we get this which is actually pretty fun and consequential that isn't trivial to escape it gets crapped on lmao Gamers don't know what they want anymore. Fyi there are more than this 1 way to escape, you can bribe a corrupt imp officer or just wait it out
I’m sorry but that’s a horrible comparison. There’s 1 military base in gta. And it represents the entirety of the army’s “HQ” in gta. Let’s say gta was set up that to once you got a wanted level of 6 stars, you stayed wanted and you would be hunted by police on site. You could get away from the cops and they wouldn’t actively be hunting you but the moment your in view they will come for you. (Similar to elder scrolls) NOW, let’s say The only way to clear your 6 stars, is to clear out a random building they pick to be a “sting operation” of agents actively looking for you. You clear them out, you lose the 6 stars, cops stop actively hunting you. You’re making it seem like when you get a wanted level you have to go all the way to the Death Star to clear it… would you rather them copy something from one of the far cry games so the game can inevitably get called unoriginal even though people were peeved about the things they did try? I’m not trying to sound like a shill, the game does need improvement in some spots, but these kinda complaints just seem like low hanging fruit that’s easy to convince someone to get behind.
5 Star wanted level has cool small little details. You can see imperial fleets coming down to land or flying pass you from above. It adds to the immersion
Wrong At Wanted Level 6 a Man Hunt is issued by the ISB You need to find an ISB Officer and with his Key Card you can overwrite your Wanted Level as "Captured"
I think it would've been a bit better if you jumped on your speeder Vespa they would then either send scout troopers then call in some Tie Fighters. The only way to get the bounty off you is to leave the planet for a little while. It would reduce but never go fully away or something like that.
Look! the device we used to track down this criminal is somehow destroyed! She was last seen heading to a direction where the device is stationed. I wonder how the device got destroyed
Since when you have to go to military base to call out 5 Stars Wanted in GTA V? Maybe you meant in Online(idk I haven't played it much), but in story mode you just lose them or go to Los Santos Customs
I like it well enough tbh. Kay is just a random in the universe. It makes sense to me that the Empire just sort of forgets about her immediately if they can’t find her and she doesn’t cause more trouble. And then if it gets too high, only an order from someone higher up can call off the search, which forces Kay to impersonate that higher person with the key card.
Also why is GTA brought up in the clip, as if they do something realistic to clear your wanted level? Spraypainting your car or hiding for 2 minutes is of course way more believable
@@LeBronJames-vn8tgwho told you games need to be believable to have fun and killing half of the city and police unit and just hiding 2 min after that with same clothes is somehow better or improved after 15y of first gta

What’s neat is if you do get caught and they take credits from you those same credits can be transferred back to you if you splice one of there terminals in the outposts.
I was super ready for this, thought we were getting something like RedDead Redemption, but Star Wars and in space. Man, was I wrong lol!!! Refunded it after about 3 days I think. Was thinking about revisiting it after the patches and DLC, not sure.
i set up star wars outlaws for failure, i was expecting kotor 2 role playing with jedi survivor combat. 😭😭
they should have went full lore accurate and have the consequences mc of getting caught as either sent to penal colony like andor or getting thrown to jail like Skyrim and have to bust out of jail through secret doors. or better yet have her the sold to slavery like princess Leia. but then again it's ubi and they didn't have the balls.
Best wanted system was in shadows of mordor/war with the nemesis system
What a joke of a game! Halfway built, not even fully ready to be sent out. And once again a group that doesn’t want to listen to the customer.
As if not one of them is gonna call up and be like
"Hey why did we call off the search for that woman with the fucked up lookin cat?"
"We didn't."
Nit sure why this reviewer apparently can't tell the truth, but there it is.
the easier solution especially when ur clearing an imperial base is to just die, lose some credits, and restart where u just were lol
Easiest way - delete game and get refund
Move on bro😢
Warhammer 40k Brother
@@brunoderkameramaa8005Unless Amazon gets its wish
Help me understand as a person who enjoys all of the star wars content, including this game. What don't you like about it so much that you fear all Disney releases
@@brunoderkameramaa8005 i love warhammer, but things are getting iffy with it too. they made female custodes and attempted to gaslight fans by saying they always existed
Just hide in the small grass fields, they will loose you every time. This game is a joke for being a triple A game.
the world/worlds and enviroments are truly amazing and cool.
sadly the gameplay sucks.
I dont understand why this is a bad thing? This sounds kinda sick!
Gave this game a good 20 hours. Fun at first... but became so very boring. So many lazy design choices. This is not what games should be in 2024.
Ive actually got away without having to slice a system of theirs. I hid long enough and they called off the search after about 2-3min
The games not bad,but the data slice game is stupid, and there should of been more locations to slice in and dump the wanted level
Reminds of the speeder level in Jedi Academy. I really think the height of star wars games was between 2002-2005, culminating with battlefront II.
Im convinced gaming has been on a drop ever since 2016 no reason there should be this many big flops from such well known companies.
At least in Osyssey i could pay bounty from main menu. And it was in a virtual world. This makes no sense
This also applies with factions and stuff to if you get the lowest rank possible with a faction they will send a hit squad that will literally chase you everywhere u go-
The game will be on sale next month for like 20 bucks lol
Less I bet
I wouldn't even give them the 20 for this game. I'm waiting till it ends up on gamepass. Lol
@@bobbysells9226 Yeah, even on gamepass I probably won't play it. It be a waste of a download.
This might make sense tho... it's a pain in the butt but it makes sense?
The way you describe it i dont see a big problem. Sounds like a cool system. Sure it doesnt make that much irl sense but its 1) star wRs and 2) a video game
Star Wars plot armor…it normal.
They should punish players by making them spend large sum of credits to lower bounty
Then if the wanted system get max level your force to stealth the base if your caught bring going loud you can't change the wanted system and have to hide out of the solar system temporarily
I just want the 3rd Star wars Jedi, I am so excited! the other 2 were so good. 2 of my favorite games now.
No game has ever had a good wanted system
And then we get this which is actually pretty fun and consequential that isn't trivial to escape it gets crapped on lmao Gamers don't know what they want anymore. Fyi there are more than this 1 way to escape, you can bribe a corrupt imp officer or just wait it out
Ahhh, everyone defending the game before they gotta get mad when it flops and get put on the gamepass, and they all wasted 130 on it, lol
Who made the decision to allow Ubisoft to make this Star Wars game? Whoever did that should be fired
Just wait until shadows comes out. :)
Or you can pay off the corrupt imperial officer
I've put a lot of hours into this game and i havent had to do this once. Haters gonna hate.
The whole game is underwhelming
5 Star wanted level has cool small little details. You can see imperial fleets coming down to land or flying pass you from above. It adds to the immersion
GTA san andreas has better wanted system than this "Quadraple game"
Wrong
At Wanted Level 6 a Man Hunt is issued by the ISB
You need to find an ISB Officer and with his Key Card you can overwrite your Wanted Level as "Captured"
The shill is strong with this one
Why does her run look like that
Guys in ubisoft be like: you know im something of a scientist myself
Your grammar tho
@@railfandepotproductions you happy now?
@@slenderman4946 better
Honestly doesn’t sound that bad tbh
Gta 5 lester ahh moment 😭
But this same system gets praised in AC games???? Make up your mind
A basic outlaw kill death troopers alone? They only let your primary be a pistol though right?
I think it would've been a bit better if you jumped on your speeder Vespa they would then either send scout troopers then call in some Tie Fighters. The only way to get the bounty off you is to leave the planet for a little while. It would reduce but never go fully away or something like that.
The more I hear about this game the less I wanna play it
Epic failed to me
Look! the device we used to track down this criminal is somehow destroyed!
She was last seen heading to a direction where the device is stationed. I wonder how the device got destroyed
Better than what Cyberpunk has, where just jumping into someone’s backyard causes everyone to forget about you.
The comparison to gta you made was absolutely inaccurate, a military base compared to a “camp ground” of death troopers. Where is the similarities?
They had forgive and forget in SR and the ChopShop in GTA they both do the same as outlaws but you lot didn’t complain then ?
Oh hey. this game came out huh? Oh well gotta look for drowner brains, wolven armor won't make itself, you know.
@@DukeLancastermore believable then me breaking into pentagon to get myself off the Cia most wanted list you kne
@@LeBronJames-vn8tgwho told you games need to be believable to have fun and killing half of the city and police unit and just hiding 2 min after that with same clothes is somehow better or improved after 15y of first gta
@@LeBronJames-vn8tgbut that’s simply not comparable to the game is it? the equivalent of the pentagon would be the death star. all you have to do is take out one officer to get access to their database, seems realistic enough for me.
I mean it's not that different from eliminating the population of a town then paying the bounty off in rdr2
Hey get out of here with that logic and reason! We should be hating this game for having actual consequences for messing up and/or slaughtering dozens of imps! Who wants realism? They should just forget about us in 3 seconds
Saints rows forgive and forget system made more sense
Kind of a cool idea actually.
I'm enjoying the game for the most part, but it really feels like they completely abandoned finishing certain aspects of the game and just polished over it.
character movement is clunky if feels very unnatural. combat feels really outdated as well. It just feels like they needed another year at least and at some point in the beginning or middle of development they got really rushed and had to just skip past fine tuning it.
I was following the game for a while and something that legit scared me was the punching animations that just look robotic, I’m holding out that it comes on gamepass, or that I can get the Ubisoft subscription for free and play it but I’d agree the movement hasn’t looked the greatest
@@seangallagher9435 I'm mostly focusing on side quests, I haven't really done much of the main story. I do like the map/area layouts for stealth. Finding all the treasures and gathering intel from an imperial facility felt really satisfying. there's multiple different routes and approaches you can make but overall the stealth feels weird. You definitely hit the nail on the head because the melee combat, which you will use a lot, just looks goofy and feels slow. The game is fun, don't get me wrong, but I'd recommend waiting for game pass or waiting to get it when it's $40 USD or less. That feels like the appropriate price for it. This game looks, feels and plays like an Xbox 360 or PS3 open world action RPG.
Basically the saint row system where you go to Forgive and forget.
The most AGGRAVATING and ANNOYING thing in this game is when your wanted in space and can’t flight down to the planet to escape. You either have to fight off 20 waves of tie fighters or die to reset. IT’S SO DUMB!!!
I genuinely believe if this game didn’t have the starwars title attached to it, people would like the game a whole lot more. I like a lot of the gameplay mechanics, I think people just hold starwars to a much higher standard
Holy shit her arms would make you feel like she's shmoving but she's moving slower than Jabba
I just had this happen to me and I simply didn’t do this and it was fine. I don’t think you HAVE to call off the search.
IGN score 1000000000000000000000/10
You can also get rid of it by getting on your ship and going through hyperspace to another system
Completely forgot this movie existed and now im remembering how traumatized i was by this movie.
Flop, should have done a mando bounty hunter game 🤦🏽♂️
//people really just wagon off any review they see///
Ask Nix to get the blaster from inside the tent. And then use that to kill the troopers. There are three.
