I had three the youngest was 6 when I found out I was pregnant with our fourth and last child. Such a blessing. Now I have 13 Grands, my oldest grandson is getting married in May. Blessing upon blessing over the last 48years of rearing children now watching grandchildren become adults (soon seven). Bri and Art enjoy your children while they are wee ones. Love watching each of your children grow and learn. Singing praise and blessing at the table is priceless.

I was a single mom with seven, and I truly count my blessings, everyday, that I was able to keep a roof over their head, and food in their belly’s. You are both doing a wonderful job!
Having Art to help you, Bri, providing them that good father figure, is truly wonderful and important! Imagine working three jobs and raising seven!
Remember, God never gives us more than we can handle. So , I’ve always said, “Dang, He must have high hopes for me!” Lol! God bless you ALL!

I love the fairy garden, very accomplished. In my childhood back in the time of the dinosaurs, the craze was for making saucer gardens. Damp cotton wool on a saucer or small plate, and then decorate from the garden or nature. Good way to keep kids busy for a while.
I have 4 kids and have all the same feelings as you do, Bri. Some days I wish I’d had more kids and some days I feel incapable of taking care of these ones. I love that you guys share the honest feelings about parenting and I think my days where I don’t lose my patience and have to apologize are very rare. You’re doing a great job!

One thing that you guys do extremely well (that I think is hard with a big family) is (while the older children of course want to help and are very helpful) I never see you guys expecting them to give up their childhood to take care of younger siblings. I'm sure that makes it much harder on you guys but you're doing a great job!!!!! I wish I had more children but didn't get started until I was 40. 2 healthy happy children after 40 seems like blessing enough.
Good point. So many eldest girls get burned out looking after younger ones n rush into pregnancy themselves just t getaway from them

I have seven kids too, as well as a set of twins boy/girl that are 14 now. You can do it mama. WE have out moments but you Are very capable and you are a great mama!!!!

Joyful, you are so talented! You made an AWESOME fairy garden! We played a similar game growing up. It was called May Day. When you saw a car, you would yell "May Day, May Day". Then everyone would hide. If their headlights were on, you couldn't get caught in their beams. So much fun!!

Kids step on your toes when they're little and they'll step on your heart when they're grown. At one point in time, each of my four grown children have broke my heart!! All is forgiven and well now!🥰

Hi Art & Bri and the tribe of 7 minis..I used to polar plunge all the time until we moved to Arizona. Not nearly enough water freely running here to do it all winter. I prefer to jump into a creek. I guess I could use a swimming pool. No that is not the same. Hahahaha. Hope you continue welcoming the world to share your home and family. Thank you all.

This video is a really good reminder to people about the downsides of comparing your own family to Internet families. After watching the recent update, and realizing this video was probably filmed during a very dark time in the family, and that Arthur would be abandoning the family within a couple months to deal with his mental health, it really reminds us to not compare yourselves to what you see online. Watching it now I can see that faces didn’t necessarily match with the story that was being portrayed. I tell my kids all the time to stop projecting perfection on Internet families. I’m really praying for your family’s healing and I have very much enjoyed following you for years.

My sis has nine. They were all home schooled. Last one is in college now. They are socially stunted, but brilliant.

I lived next door growing up to a family, seven children. When they moved next door, Mom was pregnant with no. 4. It was crazy. I was close to the first two children in age but really enjoyed watching the babies coming in. Sometimes I wanted to go over to play, but really just wanted to be with the babies. Mom would put the baby on the sofa and say she or he is yours for awhile. I felt so big and important.
I understand how challenging your live is right now but you both just hang on & keep moving forward. It's really very inspiring. Thank you for your videos. I enjoy your family so much.

I was a young parent for my first two (not quite 20 & 22) and an older much more experience parent for my last one (nearly 34) both experiences were AMAZING but I feel I learned much more through the eyes of my youngest and the interactions between the older 2 and the youngest🥰

I babysat twins once. I fed each baby one at a time. But my foot was useful in rocking the carrier the baby who wasn't being fed was in.

My Mom had ten she had seven then came the triplets I am the oldest of this brood and I was nine at the time. I learned very quickly as did my next two sisters how to change diapers flannelette one too. We had a two and a one year old, the latter's was a preemie as were the triplets.. Our next door neighbour was Mom's lifeline, we called her nanny. Dad was a miner worked shift sometimes gone during the night. I can never remember my Mother crying or laying in the bed with those babies. No modern conveniences wringer washer for washing think about how many diapers were washed daily mind blowing these days. This was back in 1963. She worked hard no one went Hungary or dirty. How she survived with all of us is a mystery to me. Both her and my dad have passed on now miss them so much but so happy I have all these glorious memories. BRI you will get through it and one day look back and say I raised these children and I thin I did pretty good. Take care still have your lupine seeds not forgetting. I had hip replacement surgery this past summer and having the other hip done in late March hopefully.

I had asked my Mom once how many kids she had wanted and she said one to three. There are nine of us.
The gift of so many siblings y’all have given your children is so worthwhile, as a sibling of 8 and me being the 8th child I absolutely had the best childhood and always had companionship. To this day I am so grateful for my siblings. I wish I had had more children of my own but alas is was not to be. Enjoy every moment as y’all are doing a fantastic job with them. Yes you are more than capable! You are rocking it!

When we had our third child, we felt outnumbered, so we stopped there. The preteen and teenage years were harder for us, as they developed their necessary independence. We lived in a big city, lots of temptations.

Bri, love your creativity with using your foot to bottle feed. In 1983 a lady was in my health class, she was mother of several children. I was in amazement as this was my first blessing to meet this sweet, tiny, armless lady as she walked into our class. She took her backpack off her back, unzipped her backpack and placed her class materials on her desk, sat down and began taking notes… all of this was done by the use of her own feet/toes. No, she was not barefooted. She had slip on slippers. What an amazing women.
I had 4 and people thought that was a lot, I always said after 2 it didn't make much difference the older ones took a lot of care of the little ones. I see that in your home, wit the children taking care of each other, I even notice the oldest one even cooks sometime. I had two of mine ten months apart and thought it would have been easier with twins. You got this. God is in your home!
