The reason we love these rubicons, is because they are reliable, relatively comfortable but more importantly, Reliable and dependable. I don’t need to do 90 MPH i need to get where I’m going

I’ve had many atv. All Polaris then in 21 I bought the rubicon 520. In 23 i switched back to Polaris trail edition 570. The build quality between the 2 is night and day difference. Yes…. The Polaris is a nicer trail machine , faster and a better suspension , but in my opinion an unreliable machine. I’m a lone trail rider older guy here. I NEED reliability. Yes things can go wrong with any brand , but my 2yr (year around) riding trail and exploring off the beaten path the Honda never let me down. The other thing is resale ….. I sold it for almost what I paid for it and the guy that bought it was STILL riding his 20 year old Honda ATV.
This week I’m going to my dealer to purchase another Rubicon and trade off my Polaris.

I did the same basically. Sold my 2018 Sportsman 850 SP for a 2020 Rubicon DCT Deluxe. Do I miss the power sometimes of the 850? Of course. I do wish Honda would add some more power to the next Rubicon. BUT the overall fit and finish and the reliability of my Honda so far has me feeling proud with no regrets. That 850 had so many issues. Practically no issues or problems with the Rubi!

What you said at the end of the video is why a lot of us have Hondas. We very well understand. It’s not the biggest baddest or anywhere near the most powerful, but what we also know is when we hop on to Ride it’s going to do everything we need to do every single timeand do it really well.

Just went from a rubicon 2022 to an outlander pro hd7 2023. Night and day difference, for the same price I don’t see how Honda is even an option ( coming from a previous Honda fanboy )

Suzuki kingquad I would consider. But nothing else cuz when your 60 to 100 miles from any help honda reliability is priceless. And Suzuki is considered # 2 in reliability. I'm not someone that changes quads every other yr or with 3 to 4000 miles like alot of people are tell me if you still got that outlander in a couple yrs. I still have my 2002 2015 and just i welcomed the 2024 Rubicon con to the family which will be around for many years to come.

Different machine altogether. Honda ATVs are built for reliability, are work horses, and last forever. Machines like Can Am and Polaris are built for speed and sport. They are less reliable, use plastic for racks, and won't last half as long as Honda does ... but they look fancier and are much faster on open flat trails. Again it really depends what the rider is after.

@@84guerciotti I live in ranch country, people have many acres (well, average is about 900 acres). Lots of Can Am around, neighbors have a couple, over 10,000 miles, never had an issue, used daily in pastures.

I have a 2002 Honda foreman 450. I have fixed it up so that it is essentially a new atv. I have had it for 5 years. I plan on keeping it forever. I think it’s all the atv I’ll ever need. I’m a 56 years old hunter and fisherman. All care about is getting out to the great outdoors, and getting home again. I feel I can do that with my old reliable Honda.

I know what you are saying and I have bought nothing but Hondas for many years and I am 70 and have put a lot of miles on my machines. I was looking at a Rubicon in 2021 and my dealer was out of Fourmans and Rubicons and they also have Kawasa's and they carry CF MOTO and the Brute Force was higher than the Kawasaki and they ask me to look at the CF MOTO and I did and I ended up buying a CFORCE 600 and it came with more standard equipment than the Honda or the Kawasaki. I have three Honda ATV'S and a Pioneer 700-4 and I my 2004 Honda Foreman has around 9000 miles on it and I have spent $85 on repairs in 20 years it's my work horse. My 21 CF MOTO has around 1000 miles on it and no problems at all and the PS and throttle response and ride is fantastic and the only complaint I have have is the engine noise and it puts out some engine heat. And I am still a big Honda fan but there price tag is way out of line. Thank you

My friend just got himself a new TRX520 and i own a Suzuki King Quad 500AXI myself. Great machine and well build but the King Quad is also well build and in my opinion the better driver, but on the farm, towing and plowing snow i would consider the Rubicon.

Honda is the best because of its reliability. I am not into faster ATVs because the faster they are, the more unreliable they can be. I love to trail solo with my wife. So reliability is my priority. Same with guns, I love my glocks because they're very reliable. Some of my friends called my ancient but my thing is that, when you put your life on the line. The most reliable is always my choice.

It is a very nice machine... not our cup of tea here at the studio but we enjoyed it. Compared to the first gen DCT that was a clunky mess, the 520cc engine and DCT are not perfectly happy and perfectly matched. solid machine but we still wish for a bump in horsepower

    • @jameshanna8762

Let me help you understand. People who buy these are NOT looking to race around faster than everyone else and make the most noise. We want a reliable machine to go into remote places with confidence. We know that the 520 is plenty strong enough to do whatever we ask of it, without being so overpowered that the machine tears itself apart over time. We want the machine to last as long as we care to ride it. We are pulling trailers around the farm, dragging deer out of the woods, running fences, and remote camping.
For us, plastic racks and overpowered gas guzzler displacement is a waste. We want solid build quality, efficient power, and quiet capability. Faster and stronger is not the criteria for us. But that is the beauty of choice. The Rubicon is the perfect choice for the farmer/sportsman, whereas it may be seen as too slow and underpowered for the thrill-seeker ATV rider. "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so”.

I don’t understand why people that don’t understand watch videos of things they don’t understand to complain about things they don’t understand.
