    I got a Cf Moto cForce 800xc with a Vtwin . With the machine I bought Kenda Bear Claw htr tires a bag for the back . Front bumper and nice Iron Baltic Plastic skid plates all of that was just a little over 11 grand. I ride the Atv a lot already over 1000 miles on in which I beat the ever living hell out of it. I’ve been through deep water , creeks thick nasty mud , up strep hills made of boulders and snow far not one issue with anything. I know eventually I will have to replace the belt but as of now the belt is fine and I carry a spare with all the tools I need to change it. I was gonna get this exact machine from Honda and the salesman begged me to rethink it. He said The Honda is great but he promised after the high of buying the Atv I would be bored with the Honda. He talked me into the CfMoto and everytime I see the guy I thank him. So far my Cf Moto has only been back to the dealer for the regular maintenance required . Once my warranty is up I will do my own maintenance. If anyone out there is thinking about CfMoto but is hesitant I can tell you they have come along way in the last few years. I love Hondas too but the price you pay for lack luster performance is insane

    I had a 21 Honda Rubicon 520. I sold it to get a 23 Polaris 570 trail edition. I’m already looking to switch back to another Honda Rubi.

      I really don’t care for the belt drive system. Polaris looks great but being a lone rider 99% of the time o really needed something more reliability. Granted you can get good and bad ones with anything , but in the short period of time my belt was slipping , motor mount broke , then voltage reg. , stator ? I was disappointed in this Polaris and I’m a Polaris fan boy. I’ve had many of their atv and snowmobiles. The low speed exploring and crawling through and over stuff the Honda was much nicer for that. I’m an older dude so really don’t care about hauling ass. 45 mph is plenty for me.

      I have always been a Honda guy back since the 3 wheeler days. In 2011 I thought I would switch to a Can-am Outlander 650 because a few guys in my huntin camp were doing the same. I switched back in 2019 to a Honda Rubicon because I never realized how much loved the shaft drive. I hated the belt drive. Don't get me wrong it was great for trail riding, but I don't do a lot of trail riding, I work my bikes.

    I haven't had a ATV in several years. I did a bunch of research and picked up a 2024 Honda Rubicon 520 4x4 EPS DCT. I wanted something really reliable. I'm totally glad I got it. I was going back between that and the Yamaha 700 Kodiak. It's fast enough for when I'm trail riding.

    Purchased a 2024 520 rubi DCT back in may(long time honda owner...1999 TRX300 ,2007 TRX420 ESP,2014 TRX420 EPS.Impressed by the quad.Transmission is a big improvement over the first gen DCT(2009 420 DCT CTE owned by my brother Still going but this is a massive step up,he wished he had this tranny in his other model a.2024 Outlander 700XMR😁).Ride is nice and the ergos are the best for a tall rider like me(over 6ft tall).Brakes are extremely powerful.Dual range is the cats a$$,you can haul a fully load two place snowmobile trailer with ease around a yard,also use low range DCT mode to blast over marshes and bogs with ease of a CVT(not lose your speed like the foot shift models..been there☹).Kimpex trail fighter tires(25inch)are a huge improvement to the mud/bog capability and ride quality. Fuel economy is great and the diff lock can get your over terrain that would stop my other hondas in the past.Keep up the good work...greetings from Terra-Nova😊

      @@_E.S.C._ yeah, I chose the Honda because of the transmission and fuel economy that comes with it, and I've had Hondas all of my life and have never been stranded. Plus in my opinion, even though the look hasn't changed much in a long time I still think that the Honda ATVs are the best looking machines. My buddy has a 750 KingQuad it's nice , and it seems very reliable, and it's pretty quick compared to my Honda, but when we go riding I'm thinking about loading up with food and stuff, all he's thinking about is if he's going to have enough gas. My tank of gas gets me about 200 kilometers, his gets about half that.

      @@_E.S.C._ so I have the 2023 Rubicon Deluxe and 2024 Foreman FM1. When I first got the Rubicon, before it was broke in there was 2 times when I tried to shift into gear and nothing happened. But simply turning off the ATV and restarting it made it shift fine. I have almost 2000 kilometers on it and since the first hundred kilometers it hasn't happened since. Now it shifts perfectly every time. I've crossed water upto the seat a couple of times with no waterproofing or snorkel, which I was a bit worried about with all of the electronics on the Rubicon but never a problem at all.

    • @jasongilliland9508
      @jasongilliland9508 9 місяців тому

      @@_E.S.C._ oh yeah so I have the straight axle and IRS and obviously the straight axle will be more durable with less maintenance but the Rubicon is a far more comfortable ride. It has a bigger thicker seat, and takes the bumps alot smoother. But both are really well built and I don't see there being any problems with either of them as long as they're maintained properly.

    Great video, I’ve been torn between the Rubicon and 500 Kingquad as my first atv for fun. I think you are spot on with your videos on the Rubicon and ultimately the price tag is the biggest deterrent for Honda.

    I dont want to put problems to myself and hassle. That's why I always choose Honda. Sure they are underpowered ATVs compared to big-bore ATVs. But less problem is always my choice. Honda is always my first choice. For other brands, I really need to think about it over and over again.

    I'm 6 minutes in and you've been in automatic the entire time. As an owner of a 2020 Rubicon DCT Deluxe, put that thing in electric shift (manual) mode sometimes! It's so much more sporty and it gives you so much more control over the gearing and what not. I feel like you don't get the full picture of this machine in automatic mode. It's good to have auto for sure, but I'm in ESP mode more than half the time. Maybe like 65/35 unless i'm just cruising somewhere and feel lazy

    • @PowerSportsQuebec
      @PowerSportsQuebec 7 місяців тому

      I actually don't like the semi automatic mode for putting around. It feels sluggish to me and performance is really not the Honda's cup of tea. I like the fact that it does adapt to your riding style after a while with nice barely noticeable shifts. Question of personal preference I guess. I'm use to much more powerful machines and for me, the little rubicon is a breath of fresh air.

    • @fourbyfourer
      @fourbyfourer 6 місяців тому

      @@PowerSportsQuebecI'm glad you said that cuz I thought I noticed a big difference in power when in automatic mode. I plow in manual mode and there's just no stopping it, but just riding in automatic mode is very noticeable.

      @ATVGUYS  7 місяців тому

      ) complaint on this model but when we reviewed the first model year of the DCT it was not fun riding at low to medium speed with jerky stiff shifts that were not consistent with speed or rpm. It was weird... but this on in the video I enjoyed every minute of my seat time. shifts are crisp and smooth under part throttle, snappy when you pin it. no complaints here my friend.

  • @clicknstack1398

    If you were a farmer that checked fences daily and rarely went on trail rides, would this make a good option for slow steady riding and work? I'm trying to decide between the foot shift model and the DCT.

    • @ATVGUYS
      @ATVGUYS  6 місяців тому +1

      It's a perfect match for you Sir. Foot shift is cheaper if you like to shift gears but honestly the DCT system with it's latest revisions is so smooth at slow speed you just forget about it.
      And you what? With the 520 cc engine its still peppy enough with decent comfort / suspension to be enjoyable for trail riding.
      If you are looking for a better deal and easier to wrench on without the "elctronicals fizzamajigs" well the footshift version can be fixed by a weekend warrior in case of failure, the DCT cannot as it requires dealer only equipment.
      Hope this helps
