nice job Jorg - one thing to consider - computation effort - we can use highly refined meshes and obtain convergence but what we really want is mesh size just large enough to achieve convergence and save valuable computation time - with a tiny model like this - no worries - with a large 3D model - it matters - so I would include another column in your Excel - Computation Time (ms) which increase with overall model complexity and size - again - if we use Mesh Adaption feature in Fluent we can remove a lot of the iterative work trying to find a "good mesh" - yes you still need to validate the result but - with this manual method it takes longer and is less capable of providing optimum cell size vs computation time
Hi Sir .... Thank you for the last 📷 video... But i wanna ask you just one question which is . How can I get the shart which has nusselt number vs mesh grid and what's the goal of it ?
Dr Jorg, I am starting to simulate 2 phase oil-water flow in a pipeline (stratified wavy in particular, but might extend to other regimes), i had some questions, for the mesh refinement study, can i use a single fluid like oil or water? or must use multi-phase? also which turbulence model and multi-phase model do you suggest?
I didn’t know what was meant by mesh until i watched this video. You’re absolutely my man. Thanks a lot. 🌹🌹💙
clear cut!Expecting more videos like this on Fluent.Thank you.

Wonderful video!

Thanks I have a question which is if you would do private lessons with regard to Ansys fluent (fire simulation )
Why Don’t I get convergence when I make mesh finer ? But just for an interval

hi sir, how can we calculate the empirical value?
Do some experiments
