AVE "Skookum" utility knife update June 2024

Houston we have a problem, working through a sticky detent button on the knife.

Polish the large side surface where the round button is sliding on. Problem solved for me.

I sanded the crap out of mine also, worked decent, then belt sanded the perimeter after assembly including the screws like you did, then it got super tight for some reason. I cut off 1 coil from the spring and it's been fine ever since.
