No "Gospel Chops" every lick you ever learned, crunched into a 4 bar measure garbage BS. Just the perfect combination of showmanship and Solid ass playing. Rich is the man!!!!!!
I usually just listen to classic hard rock music, but when I heard Jason Aldean on the radio and saw some of his videos on tv, I was totally blown away with his awesome band. I especially like his drummer, Rich Redmond. This guy can rock the house down! Best drummer I've ever heard, playing Country music!
My favorite drummer to see in person and love that videos always pop up on my feed. ❤ Rich Redmond!
when he hits the snare to get the intro thingy going, get me excited. then i like how he uses the china to get the feel going for the beginning of the song!

@bag2289 it makes it more dramitic plus its live not in a studio lol- you can change it up- its boring hearing and playing it the same in the studio and on stage- i do the same with my band- its more exciting!!

A man that is that Fu^^king Good multi-tasking,using kick(bass)drum(feet),twirls a drum stick,(like a professional with a baton,except if he messes up,your gonna know it!!),another hand hitting symbols...has to be a woman's(me)BEST,N BED!!!Jason,if you loose Rich as a drummer,your fu^ked!Don't get me wrong,I'll take u 4 a little ride&show u my kinda party anytime!(LOL)

+Kevin Cady I'd rather watch someone like Rich who can actually lay down an awesome groove and solid tempo than some loser just overplaying trying to show every chop he has. Thats called sucking.

Playing almost every stroke at 12-14 inches full wrist motion. Not impressive at all. Ive taught a 5 five year old the same thing while staying in the pocket. Rich Please learn some musicality, phrasing and doing something besides hitting your everything at full force. Try working on basic rudiments and less stick sticks!

nathan roggow I'm pretty sure he's doing just fine with his current playing style, you know considering he's well, famous and, you're well, not.
He's playing a stadium show with one of the most rock influenced country stars playing one of their heaviest songs, why would he not be playing loud and having fun? If you watch him playing some of Jason's quieter songs you will see Rich has dynamics. Don't judge a guy on one video.
