These groups probably represent less than 1% of college students. I'm willing to be well over half did not just up and decide this on their own either, but rather that small groups were funded by outside sources who then worked to organize the protests and recruit others to join

“Stopping” a protest is tricky without ending up using force, and if you use force to get your way then you lose. Why? Because operating under the assumption that you are right and then using that to justify force is illogical. Everyone thinks they are right, thats why using force is risky, even the nazis thought they were right. Its best to not use force because then you wont accidentally end up on the wrong side of history like at Kent State.

It makes no sense to let other nations go through ",growing pains" if we can skip all that. Not for free. We give them money or develop powerplants, damns, etc and we get exclusive deals on resources, or at least high discount and an ally in the region.

At the Austin protest 43 people have been arrested that have no affiliation with the school. I am sure that it is the same all over. So all of these protesters are not all students of the schools and will face no disciplinary actions if any are handed out just the students will suffer.
