Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic....
It is awesome to see that every time you pan out a target there are multiple small pieces of gold in with it. Your hunch that these targets have smaller friends was absolutely correct!
It is 12:35am in SF,CA, and I couldn't sleep, so I looked you up and BAM! a new video . Great video and always educational. Keep up the great work youngman you are the best 👍👍👍
Good morning!
Great to meet you at the gold expo ! Thanks for the warm hello and I always enjoy your videos - Lisa 😊
Thanks for saying high mate
i have some interesting shapes in the soil showing on my property. parallel sawtooth 'ripples' about 10m tip to tip, about 30m apart. they look distinctly different than the paleochannels, which are sinusoidal and snakey. from the east the seaward plateau is known to have had local glaciation, and possibly a melt lake. a single seasonal stream flows toward a small hill, and that deep cut of the stream lines up perfectly with the missing end of the hill, cut clean off. that sediment can be seen as a layer, and the wide ripples are right behind the hill remaining...so do you have lidar? :)
i have an ace apex...id love to come to a place where id be allowed to use it. and do it without concern i was destroying little homes...that near barren flat erases your presence every rain.
You and I have the same barber. Paula is a lovely woman and we have spoken about you and your dogs. Small world hey!?
Love what you do and maybe one day I’ll see you around. Peace man ✌️
Nice going Chris. Good to work on a couple of theories in that area. Didn’t have to move mass amounts of overburden. Nice use of the monster too. Well done mate. Take care 😁👍
10:34 That little scrub trying to grow in the trench indicates there is a deep spot in the bedrock, deep enough to hold water and maybe some gold.
I got a monster last summer and took it to a previously productive area. I got 12 tiny ones in one 6 inch area. One was nothing more than a glorified color! The size of the tip of a toothpick. I couldn't believe it but boy was it a bear to recover! I literally had to pinch it between my finger tip and nail to pick it up. 😂
The only problem I run into with the old mine locations is all the left over ironworks that the old timer left over. Found a nice picker that was hiding under a chunk or rusty iron. That was discarded
Magnets make that a little easier
Yes, but places like that are also not detected thoroughly, granted it is a little more work, But lots of trash always tells me it hasn't been detected.... I once spent two weeks detecting where a house had burned down, TERRIBLE!!! BUT, I found his old coin collection that had been turned into globs of silver, gold, and copper.... AND, he let me keep it all!!! before it melted, he said it was over 50.000 in rare coins... turned into dirty globs of metal, broke his heart (besides losing his house and shop)... And YES!!! Thank goodness for magnets!!
That is a great spot to run a Mack-Vac!!! really clean those cracks, I bet you would end up with 2/3's more gold.... and it makes it SOOOO easy!!
I'm sure its that Buckshot dude leaving his markings everywhere....
good gold too, well done Chris!!
When all us non affording GPX people sees Chris with our Gold Monster 1000 🥳🥳
The gold monster is a mint machine 👌 love it
I think if i actually got out and spent time id invest in a minelab 6000 but id never make my money back so i dont.
@@johnramirez5032Don't give up Go 8 hours a day, take it seriously, conduct research on your target area's history, and so on, but never give up.
@@ekgoldmining1967 thanks. Persistence pays off i know. First i have to get off my dead ass. !lol i have a 24k Garrett/White's anniversary detector . I know it will work but i still have get out there and use it. Research is key too. There isnt a lot of information that ive found about the area im thinking of going. At leasr not what ive been able to glean. .....yet. ive found some flakes. With the gold pan.
Im in a non nugget producing area and ive pulled 2 ounce in 12 months with it so its possible
Gold $10.00 per hour, scenery and peace is priceless.
Really Like the way you put your videos together mate, well done👍🍻
Absolute pleasure
Here's a vid subject I haven't seen. When you get some gold, How and Where do you sell it? and what if anything do you have to do to it first???
My buddy has one the first gold found was a really flat found in a pile of 1/4 inch overburden and look what Chris doing often miners follow their instincts cheers
It's midnight here, sure was great to get out in the nice weather with you dude. : )
You know how to do it! Good For You 👍
No one told me it's winter yet!
Suppose the snow will give it away.
Filmed 9 months ago bro
That first flake you detected, looked like a four-leafed clover 🤔
Next time you go to that area take a dustpan and brush and try sweeping that area I honestly think you will be surprised by what you get good luck 👍👍🇦🇺 QLD
(4:32) "Taking a Metal Detector Where They All Said I Shouldn't!"...and then abandoning it just like they said I would.
Thanks Chris.. That is some rich ground..
Might think about using a rake that bedrock. It would be a rough surface broom!
Would using a dustpan and brush be beneficial in that area? 🤔 It might help to get everything off the bedrock
Shop vac push broom and some very dry conditions I think you would kill it!
THEY tried to misdirect you. Can't trick my mate, he's too cool for school 👌🏻😎
moment of tooth! nice pauly reference
I really like this channel, I learned about you from your collaboration with Levi, big fan of you mate! Love the energy and enthusiasm
Pleasure mate
Do you search in the areas that have quartz ?
Never believe the gold monster when it says iron I’ve seen multiple gold nuggets pulled out that said iron you gotta dig it all my friend. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼P.S. ENJOY YOUR TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE TOMORROW we don’t get the total eclipse over here
Good onya Chris!! Cheers Buddy! JJ
Can you get a street sweeper down there to cover a hectare? Lol
Love your work mate that'll pay for the iced coffee 😂
Basking in the glory of your radiance. Best content since. The Captain Matchbox Whoopi band wrote. My canary has circles under his eyes 😂.
I don’t know if you can use a battery or gas powered vacuum there but if so it may be well worth it.
I have like a 45$ detector and it works fine. Just doesnt yell you what. But i have some small flakes and it screams under about 3 inches of dirt. Low it picks it up but its rough.
Good result for having a swing and a scratch. Thank you for sharing your adventures Chris. Cheers
Not too shabby for a play on the clay pans
Interesting way to go about it Chris -paid dividends.
1:47 are they smaller flakes around the bigger flake too ? Or are my eyes deceiving me 😅
I don't know if the laws there allow it but could you bring a vacuum to clean up all that bedrock?
A cordless vacuum would be awesome out there to get in the nooks and crannys
It's illegal to use them in Australia to remove dirt from the ground
@@debhester8665 ahh yeah your right
@@debhester8665 all states or ??
@@scottdonna2690 I believe so
When are we going to get some footage of Pauly's visit to AU, huh??? 😊
Quite a few Gold Flakes in that first pan.
was hoping to see a bloody kangaroo......lol......glad you found some
You need to check the white Gold pieces you've been passing over... Dan Hurd has a Gold prospecting channel with Red gold as well. Also breaking down that bed rock may expose hidden pockets of Gold as well. There's a reason you're still finding gold there when everyone says you won't... It's because of the erosion over time breaking down the rock and exposing the gold...
Don't you just love panning out in dirty water. Nothing like it.
Wow water at the Drift mines still!
Nice find brother!
First pan, what about that chunker that was in the pan, an actual nugget.
Good job 😮😊
Great job!!
I didn't say you shouldn't take a detector there. I bet all those people telling you that feel a bit sheepish now! Keep up the good work thanks for following my leads!
Was it just me or was there some more specs amongst that first flake in the video?
I think I know why you Aussies never get as far as us Kiwis in a venture. It's probably because you set out to see if you CAN'T do something; we set out to see if we CAN 🤣😂
I love digging harder the better
Have you ever found a piece of gold that’s the size of your fist?
Second pan I saw 4 other decent sized flakes
Great channel and I am glad I stayed up and got to be 1st to say AWESOME.
First comment trophy 🏆
@@SpudEngineering LOL
you ever use the discrimination on the gm 1000. if it still beeps there could be something there. if it goes silent. iron. ,ever use the big coil looking for gold. have a good day.
Never boring, quite the opposite actually. Thanks for the fun......
Or a battery powered leaf blower
That was a drone watch your step your being watched
I really thought i saw this before. Guess i have had one to many. Still great vid bro.

Hola amigo te saludo desde Colombia excelente video tienes un buen detector de metales mi sueño es tener uno como el tuyo

This was filmed 9 months ago in winter
@@VoGusProspecting lol makes more sence
Moving from Las Vegas to western Arkansas in a few weeks. Has anyone out here panned the Arkansas river in Eastern Oklahoma/Western Arkansas? I'll have some free time on my hands every week and I'd like to see if I can find some gold.
Are you allowed to use a vacuum in Australia?
Edit: For gold concentration collection?
The closest thing I have to a Gold detector is a$100 machine that I got from kogan it has ferrous and non ferrous
Why do you hit up one of the rivers lol dudes hike like 3km and find big ass nugs
I already found one nugget and if I find another nugget I'll have found 2. 1+1=2 WOW Who puts your shoes on for you mate.
You need to get a banker up there
There's nonwayer
Hey, I just subscribed to all and I'd like your option. I'm a nsw grey-ish, lol nomad wannabe. I'd like to fossick for gold as a hobby, but want to give it the best shot I can for return on investment of time and money and who wouldn't if they are honest even if it's breeding budgies. I have pans, a shovel and pick, but I'm thinking about a sluice for the river - Gold rat. What one would you recommend, width and mat wise? I think I'd like to run it into an older style sluice, the cheaper type, but it's the rat item I'd like your opinion on. I don't have to stay in nsw, but I'm here now and I'd rather not be lifting the shovel high for hours, it's my back and who doesn't have back issues.
$10 5K metal detector
Very very nice good effort goodexplain i like it. I am Indian.
I often thought of getting 5 target into bucke asap and then panning or running threw a sluice. Im not stupid. I know 90 out a hundred targers would be crap and i wouldnt know which spot would have the gold either. Ive never tried it yet. Im a couch potato
Liked, shared and commented 🍻
Chris are you a veteran?
Need a battery powered shop vac, suck up all that dirt to run over the highbanker
I'll tell you UA-cam really sucks you never get recommended to me anymore and you're one of my favorite channels one of my go to channels and you're never recommended it is sickening
So, what do you do for $$$ when you aren't prospecting?
Ten dollars an hour for doing something that you enjoy and just chill while doing it, seems ok to me.
Who are all of "THEY"...?
El detector se puede sumergir??👍👍🇪🇦
Can you vacuum that bedrock where you are at?

Damn… a lot of complaining in here today. Meh, they must be constipated or something. Always cool to see gold pulled out of the ground no matter how much it is.
