@Karmoon7 Well, Dave Mustaine did invent Thrash Metal basically singlehandedly. He had a band that was basically thrash before there was thrash called Panic. He wrote half the shit on Kill em All and also had Kerry king in Megadeth for a while. The guy has effected 3 of the big four and therefore he deserves the title of King of Thrash.

@bloodprysimsSpud Absolutely true. I am hardcore fan of Metallica and Megadeth to a slightly lesser extent, but no denying that this is a piece of genius song that no other band can touch. The riff/vocals/drums/bass/solo/arrangement...everything is epic in their own sense.

@se7enthson7 I have heard Malmsteens stuff. Excellent in his early days. ZERO variation these days. But besides all that, he could never write a solo close to as tasteful and melodically brilliant ans beautiful as this, and hasn't. Case closed!

Good song, Megadeth has more complex songs than Metallica, but both bands have fun songs.

i like them about the same. i used to only listen to metallica so i was like fuck megadeth but i bought rust in peace and i was like SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IIS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!! i think dave is a way better guitarist than kirk though

when i was into thrash i hated megadeth. then i moved on too heavier music and megadeth is the only thrash/speed metal band i like.
