I recently had a 1972 F100 that I drove for work. I literally put a sign on my tailgate warning that it was a standard and may roll back on hills. People still pulled right up behind.
In the mid 70s had a 64, 292 4spd, real nice shape half ton,, buddy had to move and asked if could use, stupidly said ok, day came and he comes over, leaves his car, and goes to leave with truck, blew it up shifting from 2nd to 3rd, after being told Y blocks hated high rpm's, its not like his pos import that he always ran to redline then shifted, used his pos to get it back in my driveway, then went engine shopping, found a 312 Y block that i traded his car for, he stops over as finishing hooking stuff up for his car, asks wheres car, told him at the yard i got the engine, _ came with his pickup to haul the engine and me home,,,,finished up, gave a ride and dropped off at end of driveway at the yard, never saw him again, deputy was waiting for me at home, after questioning and hearing entire story deputy said have a nice day and left
@@HiHootie no, the 64 was traded about 6 months later for a 74 f250 hiboy, do reminisce about them from time to time tho, as well as quite a few other vehicles that had flipped in the day, you know the old damn I shoulda never gotten rid of _ ,

Haha that's a great idea. When I first started driving it, i had stalled it a couple times on a crazy steep hill. Not all that fun
Super nice truck! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for popping by man!
My dad had a 65 with long bed. It advertised the twin I beams. Had a 352 with 3 on the tree. I loved driving that thing.
Love it. Driving one reminds you of the simplicity in life, without all the electronics

I wish I still had my old 66 I would’ve actually let you hear some pure sound, but the 352 wasn’t stock And the puppy would definitely hall the mail,
Love the 352s. I’m happy with the 330 big block & how easy it is to work on
How much did it cost to restore it? Looks great!
Is that a old knee banger ac I see on the passenger side.
Nice job spotting that yes!
Nice truck! I really like it, COOL! For sale? :)
Thank you! Not for sale right now lol😂
Ah yes! Old school manual steering.
