look at the way he spreds out his paws and thucks in his knees 0:28 ... hes got weak back legs... i wish they wuld improve them in that area but untill then working lines are the way to go

They're breeding the rumps too low and it's terrible. Ther Germans may have given us the German Shepherd, but for years they are ruining them.
Unfortunately German shepherds are looking like American shepherds with there archrd back there surely has to be a stop to this it's getting out of hand and a huge disrespect to the German shepherd breed
awful dog. look at this weird back, leash pulling, lack of devotion to the owner.. working line is better
Yeah I'm not a big fan of the German dogs, but the dogs are actually SUPPOSED to pull on the lead. It's meant to show the rear drive the dog has.
You also have to take into account how working lines are bred. Working line breeders don't care much about the breed standard or herding history of the breed. They breed more for extreme, modern work temperments. That results in dogs all over the place conformation and most working lines don't act like a herding dog at all
