@@BrendonLeighbro, i am not saying that you should show your eSports setups, but you could make a video saying how to make a better race setup to degrade fewer tires and not such a time trial setup?
wow i didnt believe the fps change would help, and then i did it just before my league race and beat my quali pb by 3 tenths, so thanks brendon spot on as always Thank you legend
That 60 fps bug was fixed nearly a year ago on F1 22. If the update rate of the physics model was tied to your fps instead of individual tickrate that isn't fps-related, then that would also mean that if you have higher fps, say 240, your acceleration would be increased, since according to that same logic the game will refresh your updated speed and acceleration way faster compared to 60fps. But that is obviously not the case. If there is actual proof of the 60 fps bug still being in the game, I wanna see it.
You’re under the assumption that Codemasters built F1 23 on 22’s foundation which is not the case. Since Codemasters split game releases between two dev teams, F1 23 is likely built from F1 21’s code. You can notice this a bit more when bugs that were previously patched magically reappear in a new release. The 60fps “bug” is a flaw of the Ego game engine and goes back to previous versions as well like in F1 2012. We won’t fully see the issue gone unless they rewrite the engine with fps in mind. The last sizable Ego engine rewrite was in 2015.
Your acceleration/braking probably isn't counted as part of physics but an outside modifier to physics based on user input. Grip and car instability is not based on a user input and thus directly applies to the physics model and is affected by FPS. And either way, you might as well just try it out, if it works for you it works and if it doesn't it doesn't.
Hey Brandon , Thx for the tips mate. I have a question about rain races . When you race in the race you see many raindrops on the screen while you racing . Is there a solution to get the raindrop minimise ? Because sometimes I can see nothing because of that . Thanks for your answer already Brandon . Gr ron 👊🏻
well sadly i alrdy conducted that tactic though i didnt knew it has a name to it ^^ good to know it has a name xD hope it will help the other drivers who look that video here =)
On a track like Bahrain, 50% race. My first tire stint once my tires are past 20% wear I can start to feel the car want to lock up some. On the corners I'm noticing this, would I start increasing my Brake bias forward in increments? I run a 56 BB on this track, would I bump that to a 57 or 58 in this case?
How would I be able to do the first tip on controller? When I try to brake to 50% it just goes to 100% automatically no matter how I light I press the brakes down
60 and 120 used to be light and day, drivers even used 30fps at monza, but codemasters patched it so the affect was much less impactful so 120 is useable and good to use
Be sure to filter out the super cars. When your on the OSD for time trial look at the bottom of the screen. There will be a toggle between super cars and f1. Change it on F1 and you should be good to go.
Do you have some tips for rain conditions pls🙏? I am struggling a lot on this game and this never happened to me on the previous games. I am overheating the tyres with the minimum tyre pressure and I am not able to brake correctly, I am going straight all the time
unless you are doing proper league racing where you know other people do this it really isnt worth the sacrafice, the reaction time gain and smoothness from higher refresh rate will likely make up most of the deficit for the typical player. Its only the crazy fast people who will benefit.
@@aidan2545I would think it benefits average drivers and beginners lap times much more than the pros. Harder to drive means it’s the beginners that are much slower. Higher fps makes it harder to drive. Pros using higher fps will have already mastered the traction skills and difficult curbs so minimal lap time gain compared to other pros on 60fps. (But that is all the difference at that level anyway) whereas average players will spin out much more and drive under the limit due to fear of the curbs. Also they will have issues with consistency esp in longer races.
what a legend, no one from the ESPORTS drivers will share these tips, thanks brendon
you never see anyone giving this tips away, thx amot brendon, i hope u win another PSGL race very soon
Thanks Brendon for your advices!!! 🔥 🔥
Happy to help 💪

so locked the fps to 60 means gaining 3 tenths am i get it right ?
Excellent information, That drag brake trick would help heaps especially when on the hards or mediums behind a safety car,
Thankyou,
That's a nifty trick! Never even though about it.
Appreciate you sharing these kind of things

I thought 60fps felt smoother over kerbs, I guess my hunch was right during practice for an imola league race
Hello and Thanks Brendon keep it up ❤️🙏
Thank you for explaining this in a simple way. Thank you.
You're definitely our Mr Miyagi. Thank you Sensei.
Love the first tips
Performance mode on Xbox Series-X runs at 120Fps where-as Quality mode runs at 60Fps, same as the previous version of the game !!
Been doing this in my league and it helps alot
My guy apologizes for blocking AI. Meanwhile the new league racers play battle royale with each other.
Awesome. Cheers dude💪🏁
Been doing this for years lol. ACC, Iracing, F1
I had to observe it and copy it 😅 nobody shared the tips before (for warming up the tires)

if you are on pc you can turn off particles in the graphics section to turn off raindrops but you can’t change it on console
Man, thank you! 💪
THANK YOU BROTHER U SAVE DMY WRIST ON MY DD1 Bless ur soul.

I see people set the brake bias to 70, is there a reason for that or can i leave it at my normal bb?
The main reason to allow the front and rear tyres to warm up to equal tyre temperatures, it’s definitely worth doing

Obviously man
whats the perfect temps for the softs ?
100-104 degrees
What about formation lap? Any tips?
Is 60 fps still a thing? I thought it was fixed
How would I be able to do the first tip on controller? When I try to brake to 50% it just goes to 100% automatically no matter how I light I press the brakes down
Test 60 fps against 120 comparison ?

I need help in osd to be changed in time trial it’s so annoying to practice the gears for a beginner
Be sure to filter out the super cars. When your on the OSD for time trial look at the bottom of the screen. There will be a toggle between super cars and f1. Change it on F1 and you should be good to go.
there are options for supercars/F1 cars and Qualy/Race/Timetrial option

I’ll make a dedicated video to help! Should be up by next Friday
Thanks bro ❤️
is the FPS exploit PC only?
Thanks man
Nah brendan has had such a transformation since 2017 he used to be relatively fat but now he has really changed
Can we do this every quali in career mode? Or does it have an accumulative effect on the brakes? Thanks for the tips!
You can do it anytime anywhere
How is IT by Racing of PS5
Love it!
Thanks for the 60hz tip. It’s a shame I run a 55 inch oled on my sim rig and 120hz just looks so good. It’s a shame to drop it to 60.

What’s the ideal tyre temps?
Bout 90
95-100
i love your tips brendon .
I’m glad you find them helpful! Plenty more videos to come
I’m pretty sure Kimi used to this
Managed to block a solid 3/4 Red Bull drivers, nice.
dont try this in real life thought because brake and accelerator at same time can break the engine
Definitely! 🤣 you’ll also destroy the brake pads and discs before even starting the lap
