the singer is my brother J.J. Hoyle, he had MS for 15 years, and died in 2009, he wrote all the lyrics, not only was he a great singer, he was the most Wonderful man I have ever known. R.I.P. Bruv, love you for ever. xx
sorry to hear that mate..bought this album after seeing " sunday drivers " always on the sounds mag playlist..!!..great album..still hoping it gets re-issued on cd.
Saw Dedringer play the Pier in Colwyn Bay, North Wales during the summer of 1981. Excellent band who spent some time with the audience after the show. I remember the drummer had a monster kit and boy could he play it. So sorry that J.J. lost his battle a few years back - A true gent and one helluva singer.
Very interesting! Better vocal harmonies than many NWOBHM bands... parts of it almost sound like country western, at other times sounds a bit like Spider with a boogie feel. Overall a nice sound, really.
I bought this album after seeing them support Triumph at the Liverpool Empire (1981 I think) - they were really good and the album didn't disappoint - a little bit random but loads of ideas and drive. I've still got the LP and I think I may have digitised it at some time - thanks for the reminder, must dig it out.

I knew Johnny. They achieved a lot and were unlucky not to get the break they deserved. Rock In Peace Johnny!
he left a classic legacy mate i loved this album
I seen them in Newcastle City Hall in 1981 - good they were too.
The right snarl you want to hear from hard rock vocals...almost an Australian feel.
class, i heard this first in 1985 when i lived in London, it still has the impact it had then, love it, great tune, great band, and great album
Had this one on a sampler, such a great song, stays fresh for ever.
I saw these at the Boat Club Nottingham in 1979/80. A brilliant band.
