Vital Information at The Birdland Theater September 18, 2022 with Manuel Valera on piano and Janek Gwizdala on electric bass. We each made videos of the gig to check our own performances but they did not have optimum viewpoints. Nevertheless, Christian Grassart did a marvelous job putting our videos together to bring you this performance of Bud Powell's "Tempus Fugue-It." Enjoy the music!

Hello Steve, super longtime fan here. Your playing as always is superb, have an equipment question. In all the years I've followed you (back to your original Journey days of course, and the Global Beat CD a fellow drummer turned me onto in 1987, standing on line at a music store super sale), I can't remember you mixing head types on your toms. Any particular reason at this time? Your playing and endless striving for improvement is also always inspirational, thank you!
