I don't have kids, but I work in education and back to school is a trip. I'm glad you're getting some peace. Uhhhh am I making anything? Yup. Always struggling with pants. One or two top projects to keep me sane(ish). Just finished the West Passage and I'm taking a break because I was so bummed that it ended when it did. Borderline felt unfinished. It's good to see your makes and content! I hope you have a lovely week.
I've always been a big French Navy fan! 😉 I've still got their tab open on my computer because I was trying to pick a couple more patterns to get. I love it when there's enough ease in a neckband that you can button it all the way up 🥰 Your Saguaro pant are fantabulous!
Your Tea Time Sweater looks fantastic. Lace is not my style but I would consider that one! My kids only go back to school on September 3 but I am not sure I am looking forward to it. Mornings are so stressful!
I’m wearing my Saguaro pants in an orange linen noil while watching this! I just whipped them up before a recent trip and made a matching Strata top (Sew Liberated) in crunchtime but have the Saguaro top cut out and am antsy to make it up. I gotta say, your daughter has great taste and I bet they’ll rock that amazing bug shirt. Also going to my first fiber fest next month and it was fun and helpful to hear your thoughts after Flock. Heh, except that I’ll be going to the Salida fest (hi, Denver local!) and it will be waaaay lower key 😂
I’ve heard the salida one is great!! It’s just always right in the middle of a busy month for my family, but I would love to try and go for a day trip. But I also have no more money to spend on yarn 😂
I feel like French navy and Bella loves patterns have the best details and instructions
Oh good to know! Just went to look at the Bella patterns and there are some great ones. Might have to try one soon!

Yes I’ll definitely be watching them for future patterns! I’m intrigued by their latest pants release for sure
Ahh the sweet sweet sounds of back to school. Thanks for reviewing the Seneca shirt, I've had my eye on it and yours turned out great!
I think it’s so cute! My daughter wore it with baggy jeans and combat boots- perfection!
Happy back to school from another happy mama!!!😂
I felt like summer went by too fast …. But back to school is great lol
There’s good in all seasons!! I was ready for summer… but now I’m ready for it to be over 😂

Yes, getting back to stricter routines is harder for sure! I like that we had two days and now it’s the weekend, feels like we’re easing in

You did a fantastic job on the Rhoda top! Is it considered a cable stitch?
Yes I think so!
