aye is the flat curb feel durable i don’t have the money for the miami or cuban so i’m looking at it but i want it to last and maybe hold a pendant at one point if you see this thanks if you respond
drew 02 - that 3mm is really durable actually. Flat as you know & weighs like half than the other chains you mentioned at that size. It actually has a better shine to it than the baby curb in my opinion. I personally wouldn’t like putting a pendant on a chain like that. Some people would. If you get a 3mm flat curb & want a small light pendant on it, shouldn’t be any harm in it. I like ropes, heavy links, Franco’s for pendants myself. But a 3mm flat curb you can get from Jacoje could last you your whole life if you want it too. 🤷🏼♂️
You’re right about that. Shines the best out if any other flat type of chain I ever seen. Could be argued the shiniest of all chains. Ropes and Franco’s are pretty shiny too. .🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@Mr-Wade I was actually considering getting a Figarope/Milano next, or a Franco. I see you went with Hawaii Rope chains. I have the INRI cross from him. He’s legit also. Keep shining!💯
@@johnjames2817 he is definitely legit. Jacoje has a good price on that figarope/Milano chain. I’m 99% positive they currently get their figaropes from the same supplier. When I look at a recent jacoje review on the figarope and my chain. Looks identical. 14k I’m same spots and snotty say FJ for the initials. Jacoje rounds chain sizes both were the same.. thickness & weight. Long story short, I got the same exact chain $250 less along with free shipping getting it from Hawaii ropes. Can’t complain with that.
Royal Gold Family - yeah I never owned one until now. It’s definitely nice & made to last. At least from Jacoje. Definitely sparkling like a diamond cut rope.
How’s that chain and clasp holding up a year later? Considering the 2mm heavy as a subtle every day chain. New to the gold game and hoping to have something to hand down one day.
would you recommend 2 mm heavy kink over the 2.4 mm Jackie curb? This is for pendants and I think the round profile of the heavy link would go better with pendents.
I’d definitely recommend the 2MM heavy link over the 2.4 jacoje curb for a pendant. You’d probably find that at least 80% of anyone else would recommend the same. Jacoje curb a good chain and I have a 3.5, but not good for pendants in my opinion. Let us know what you decided to go with.
You you still have your 2.5mm rope and if so how much does it weigh and how is it holding up, I'm asking because I have a 2.5mm 14k rope as well at 20in, and it weighs 11.5g💯✌️
I like the way the 2mm heavy link looks to, hope to get one one day, I would like to know how long it is because my 2mm 14k rope ways 11.5g, it actually may be 2.5mm, but anyway I thought that was interesting because I would rather have the heavy link you know, but I do love my rope, I just like the heavy link better 💯✌️
Rope is a real nice chain too even though it’s obviously a real popular choice with many people. Still one of the best options to me cause it just looks so nice and sparkly. But that heavy link is just as sparkly. Just well built, great design, has that richer gold tone. It’s just awesome and pretty much tied as my top chains. I’m debating on getting a white gold one soon. You’d def be happy to have one of you ever do.
@@davidwhisenant5328 I had white gold a few years back. Sold it. Never was crazy about it. Could of been the style I had. Heavy link would be the shzt though. Hard to find reviews on white gold that’s not rope chains.
The heavy link not at all. The flat curb to me is border lined flimsy. It could be bent somewhat easily if you actually tried. I wear it practically every day and no issue though. I’d say anything below 3mm on the flat curb would be something to start worrying about, not an every day chain as Braden would put it. Could be said for the 3mm for some people. I’ve been wearing chains since I was like close to 10 so I personally just know how to use caution wearing anything. Hope this helps answer your question.
Just got me a 2mm heavy link from Jacoje too. Thanks for posting this video, it was helpful in deciding. How you liking it a year later? Durability good?
- no problem. Glad it helped. 22 inch are good. Look good & all. I just had bad experiences in time using the clasp everyday. Like mentioned in the video, losing a pendant one day. Just noticed my chain was undone hanging all funny off of me. Pendant gone. Couldn’t find. 24in to me personally looks better & prevents using the clasp & it wearing in time.
I do. Honestly, for a 2MM, it’s my favorite. I got a 2MM Franco for a pendant. The Franco is nice. The heavy link though is so awesome and it looks better in my opinion. More sparkly imo. I’m not sure if any chain type at 2MM would change my mind on the heavy link being the best to me. It would be good for a pendant or even double chaining with something. By itself would be good too though thin. No regrets though at all, & I highly recommend.
@@Miguel-ve1lh haha. Actually let go of that 2MM heavy link recently. Was good for stacking smaller chains. It gets buried by some of the others though and didn’t seem to have much of a presence. The reality is the 2mm would be good for like a dog tag or smaller pendant. I would have enjoyed the 3MM in the end much more.
I actually sold it a couple of months ago. Was nothing wrong with the chain at all. I just changed up my style with how I wear chains a bit. But the chain was as good as the day it was bought when I let it go. It’s probably the best 2mm chain there is. I had a 2mm d/c Franco. The 2mm heavy link was a better chain imo. So I don’t know what could top it at that size for toughness and looks.
G - SHARKK19 - It’s holding up great. I don’t do crazy things while wearing it. I’ve wore it every day since I got it. Don’t sleep with it & put it on after a shower every morning along with some other chains. It may be 2mm but like I mentioned in the video, it’s a heavy chain for the size, strong links. I have chains I had for over 20 years. All hold up fine. Only issue with any I’ve had was a clasp, it wears out after disconnecting every day over the years, costed me $50-$70 to replace each time that I have getting a new 14k clasp. Believe I got it at Kay’s jewelers each time. It would only be an issue with a 22inch chain & below, if you’re someone that takes it off everyday for whatever reason. Like also mentioned in the video, 24in & higher, there’s no need to use the clasp because it slides on & off your head without the need to use the clasp. Aside from that issue though, this chain will hold up just fine like others I’ve had. Strong links. I have no regrets buying this chain. I love it. Hope this helps!
John Wade thanks yea it does help out I have a 4 mm figaro and I wanted to pair this one a little above it for a cool look I always like this style of chain and I really appreciate this review not a lot people get smaller chains
Thank you Wade!!! Really appreciate it brother!
JACOJE LYNX - For sure. . & Thank You again for the great quality chains ⛓
what you watch the reviews man? comon braden thats really small business man i respect that

Christian Ramos - that’s awesome. Very glad to see this vid helped someone.
