This Bloom is magical, Lisa. I love it (as always!) Thanks for this great recipe, which works! Valspar is not available in Switzerland. Can I use any interior paint that is "tintable"? What does base C mean? I would really like to try your version of the Blooms... 🌺🌺🌺 So beautifully done 😍💖👌
Thank you, dear Petra! Yes, any brand of tintable house paint base should work. The c or 3 on the label means it's for the darkest colors and a or 1 would be used for mixing light colors. Can't wait to see your blooms!!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@HarmonyHouseArtOh, my dear, I hope I can make some kind of flower soon. I went to the local store but they told me they didn't have any untinted paint... Now I have to see if I can get the base from somewhere. I'm trying my best 😅 See you then... 🙏🌺
Thank you SO much for getting all the bloom clutter out of my head. You also removed the self doubt and intimidation of not being able to achieve the bloom technique! There is always more than one way to skin a cat, as my Granny Templin always said. She was right! I love the straightforward, simple instructions you give when you skin yours. Thank you!!!
Lisa, I've watched so many people paint pouring and you are my favorite!! Plus you help us so much. Even my husband enjoys you and piano music is so awesome. Love you 😂
Dear Lisa, I have followed you from the beginning of my fluid art journey and I love hearing you naturally experiment and do t get too caught up in the ingredients, trying to help us find the simplest way to make a bloom. I’m trying this in the week and although I’m in the Uk I ordered an untinted house paint and can’t wait to try it. Thank you for being you ❤
Thankyou for showing how to do a bloom as I have never done one before and it's funny that I was thinking how much I would like to have a go at painting one for my granddaughter Poppy and I just pray that it will be looking like a Poppy.Your paintings are beautiful and thankyou.🤗😇
Oooooh Lisa, This video is so true. Many thing as say around the bloom and pouring too. 🤪😆 At the begining, I lost my Latin... even though I don't know this language. 😄❤ That's why I listened to and watched your videos Lisa, because it's "easy/simple" and magnificent.❤❤❤ I really enjoyed seeing the carmine color from 2 different brand and seeing how different the coloring is. 😊 This bloom on this video is amazing. That's my palette color!!! Really!! And the petals are so beautiful! 👍❤ I loove do the bloom with my blow dryer!! and it was you who made me discover this technic on about 1 year ago. Thank you for this inspiration. 💝💖💝 Have a great day to you and thank you for sharing with us. 🥰
Lisa, I've been so busy watching every bloom tutorial on TV and learning your technique. We love your blooms & comments! And then you redo when you aren't satisfied, love it❤😅. A huge happy new subscriber ad free, Yay😊
It turned out fabulously beautiful flower!!! Thank you for receipt! I have paint base C, but there is no floetrol in Bulgaria and I will try with glue medium 😊
The Valspar tintable base gives the pigments a substantial base to hold up the other colors and is very stretchy while the the Floetrol helps it go farther. Without the Valspar, it's just a Dutch blow out which is totally fine but you may not get all of the cell action from your cell activator that you get with the Valspar.

Another question, Lisa 😄: Is Valspar glossy or matte? Thanks a lot💖
@@PetrasArt24 What I use is a semi gloss finish but not sure it matters too much =)

Simply stunning! Do you think any Amsterdam paint could be used as the activator?
I think so! All of the ones I've tried have worked as cell activators! ❤️
Thank you always for breaking things down and showing us easier ways. Always always so beautiful. I can't wait to try it! Thank you!❤❤
@arlenelouro3976 Thanks so much, Arlene and best wishes!❤️
@@HarmonyHouseArt thank you so much for your recipie.
My question is, why do I need the Valspar at all when I can use Floetrol to thin my paint ?
The Valspar tintable base gives the pigments a substantial base to hold up the other colors and is very stretchy while the the Floetrol helps it go farther. Without the Valspar, it's just a Dutch blow out which is totally fine but you may not get all of the cell action from your cell activator that you get with the Valspar.
What was the white you added?
First white is tintable Valspar base c, then Floetrol, then white paint. Not sure which white you're referring to.

Thank you, Fabienne!!! ❤️😘💕
