Saraswati river is a much talked about perennial river in Rigveda so if it is said that it dried up around 1900bc so Vedas describing it as a perennial river must be talking about the river existing thousands of years back. He covers his body's upper part with a cloth in a crossed way covering one of his shoulders and part of the torso. He doesn't put on a shirt. He also maintains a trimmed beard. Both these descriptions can be seen in the picture of the Harappa priest figurine.
