I live in a tropical country where it rains all 12 months. I have extremely weak shoulders that even “new vachetta straps” (Monogram canvas) hurt my shoulders. Therefore, what about the comfort of straps in Damier Ebene? I‘m told that they never become soft, they are always stiff. Is there any way to soften them or make them more comfortable? Do they dig into your shoulders when bag is stuffed and heavy? I’ve seen on yt videos and read that the leather shoulder straps used in DE print canvas are very hard and stiff and don’t “break in” even after use? Is it true? I’m in my 50s on the curvy side and have weak shoulders. I’m medically adviced against carrying my handbag on my shoulder but its ok if I carry my handbag hand held or crossbody. Due to comfort of strap I’m inclined to go for Mono print but the delicacy of vachetta strap i.e. no water touching it puts me off as its very difficult for straps not to have water droplets on it while travelling. I have foll. essentials - travel documents pouch i.e. tickets, passports, boarding pass etc.; sarah wallet; 2 iphones in plus sizes; mini pochette (medicines); 6key holder; cles (coins); long champ coin purses (3); long champ pouch carrying liquid items i.e. lotions, balms etc.; a jewellery pouch; long champ fabric pouch as catchall; LV cosmetic pouch PM; shawl; wet wipes and tissues. Which size of speedy bandouilere - 30 or 35 is better suited for my body frame and my travel needs? Do u think that I shud go 4 DE and buy the bandouliere strap seperately? Can it be used crossbody for a person who is 5’3”. What is your feedback? Please advice. I will really appreciate it. Thanks!
LMA 1991 Hello, I would say yes the speedy 30 would be a great travel bag for what u are saying u want to do with it and carry! Also maybe a keepall 45, I use that for travel and I love it!! Also neverfulls are great for travel!!
