I have that bag also. I find it hard to get in and out of. (Red interior and zipper kind of not long enough. I think newer erosions of our bags have e a zipper than is extended on the sides. Makes me nuts but I adore everything about it otherwise. Classic.

I had to look at your video a 2nd time. I ordered the same makeup case that you got off of Amazon. I ordered mine off Temu in the color black. I also thought on here I saw a Brahmin makeup case. That is a gorgeous Dooney and Bourke tote bag! I have a little Dooney and Bourke baguette bag in the coated cotton/canvas and I swear it's one of the most durable bags in my closet. I bought it new in 2021 and I use it all the time and haven't been super careful with it, but it still looks brand new. If you like Dooney, I recommend checking out their coated cotton/canvas bags :)

Hello! I still have several MK bags and use them during certain times of the year. I am going to start doing more videos of contemporary brands again. I’m sort of over the whole luxury bag gig. Hi! So I have to say I love your videos. Awhile back I way Hee your speedy B monogram verses speedy b Damier Ebene. Last November I purchased my first official Louis Vuitton. I purchased The speedy b monogram. Although at the time I had no idea about the vachetta and what Patina was. I purchased the monogram because that’s the print I’ve seen around since I first learned what LV was in the mid 2000s when I was going into my mid 20s. Anyway you have educated me so much on these bags. I was going back and forth if maybe I should have gotten the Damier Ebene, But you mentioned cracks can happen with the treated leather. Another video you mentioned your neverfull in Damier Ebene the straps cracked not even having it a year. I was like wow! For the price of them now that is insane. I would be so angry. I do baby my speedy b in monogram because it’s my 1st LV 😅 also, one more thing I used to think I wanted the neverfull as my first bag, but then something last year lead me to the speedy. I think because back in the mid 2000s popular stars like Jessica simpson were carrying them. I’m a mom now so I’m like maybe I should have gotten the neverfull, but maybe not so much in the damier print since the handles are prone to cracking. Did you hear the potential rumor that Louis Vuitton May not sell neverfulls on their site anymore and they stores will do wait lists and once someone is called to get their bag they have 24 hrs to get their bag or gets sold to the next customer. They may be testing this to see how it does first.
Congratulations on your speedy!! It’s always exciting to get a new purse, especially if you have been wanting it for a long time. I love the speedy bags. They will always be a classic. As much as I love my speedy, I have to say that I really really love my neverfull GM. That one I have in the monogram print. I get so much use out of it. I use it as a work bag and I always use it as a weekend travel bag if we go somewhere. if you are able, I would recommend getting a neverfull as well. However, there are a lot of other options out there if you don’t want to spend that much for a tote. I have heard the rumors about LV threatening to discontinue selling canvas bags online, or in the stores. I don’t think they’re actually going to do it though because that is their bread and butter. @@ItalidaReviews that is crazy if Louis Vuitton does that. Especially since some customers or new customers may not live near a store. I live in Central Maryland so our closest stores are in Tysons corner in Virginia just outside of Washington DC. So I can get to one in person if I really wanted to. I do Love the neverfull and if I ever got one I would want it in the monogram with beige interior. I love the Damier with pink interior, but would not want to risk the handles cracking. I saw the video of your neverfull GM, too. Love it. Right now I do not work. I quit my healthcare job and got out of the Air Force Reserves last year and I’m a stay at home mom and using a diaper backpack from itzy ritzy. If I take just my 2 year old out I use my Kate spade “Ava” reversible tote. Love Kate spade and have a pieces from her, too. Including a diaper bag tote I love. If I have my infant son with me I resort to my diaper backpack. However I’m hoping in the next year to go back to nursing school and I’m thinking when I graduate treating myself to the neverfull mm. May have to buy gently used. I follow fashionphile and I see they have pre-loved ones!

Hello! I do still have the wallet and use it from time to time but in the last year I have gravitated towards smaller wallets, so it doesn’t get as much use anymore. But I do still love it!

@@ItalidaReviews Great! Because Dooney and Bourke is one of my favorite brands. I have the Bristol satchel and the Florentine large satchel and a wallet by dooney. I’ve had these for years and the quality is really really good. Dooneys have always been classics. I’m with you on the LV quality. Lots of people have stopped buying from them because of the quality issues.

Hi again! So I know I’ve already commented once on this video, but I have a question. So I have the speedy b in monogram. I’ve had it since November 2022. The D rings for the strap have tarnished like badly. I’ve not used it much and I have it to patina. Should I take my bag to a local LV store to have them look at it? Should this be happening this soon?? It’s a little upsetting for a bag that cost $1895+ tax. I hage Kate Spade purses I’ve had for a couple of years that haven’t any tarnishing on the hardware. What are your thoughts? Should I take my back to a LV store?
Hello! I would first try to use something to polish them yourself. People swear by orange juice. They also have a product called Bar Maids and it’s supposed to help remove tarnish. With that being said, I would definitely reach out to your SA at Louis Vuitton to let them know about the problem. LV no longer uses brass hardware so more than likely it isn’t tarnished, it’s just that the gold colored plating has worn off. In that case, no product is going to help. At least if you try to brighten it up you can at least tell your SA that you’ve tried and it didn’t work. I hope they offer you assistance because it definitely shouldn’t be tarnishing or wearing off in a year. I’ve had mine five years and it’s still holding up well.
@@ItalidaReviews thank you for your response! I looked at the bag in natural sunlight recently and I’m just appalled at how the hardware looks. I think I may take the bag in to a store and talk to someone about it. If you’re hasn’t done it in 5 years then something is wrong with the quality of mine. I think it needs to be addressed especially given the price of the bag. :(

@@ItalidaReviews UPDATE: so I took the bag to the store and they were super nice and helpful. At first they suggested sending the bag off for new D rings, but I was hesitant. So the SA said let me talk to my manager and see what we can do. So he came up to talk to me. Super nice man and told me since I’m a first time customer and my first bag they would exchange it. I did inquire about the Damier because I have kids and didn’t know anything about vachetta leather when I bought the monogram last year. She’s all yes that would be fine. I also asked about downsizing to the 25 because for me I felt the speedy 30 was a bit too big to wear as crossbody anyway. Only catch was since there’s a $70 difference they don’t do store credit for that so I had to buy something else. I was going to just get the Damier in 30 to avoid buying something extra but they were out of stock in it. Ugh. So I ended up buying the compact Rosalie wallet with the ballerine interior. So needless to say I got the 25b in Damier Ebene.
