First Blood have the craziest Solo Angus ever played.
Angus was absolutely on fire and in his prime in the 80's. He was around 30 here. This solo and the one on Chase the Ace is insane too. He's the best. He is to Rock as what SRV was to the Blues. It flows right out of both like an open channel. When they did Jailbreak live throughout the mid 80's to the early 90's was AC/DC at their peak. I love the Bon era but they kept getting better at their instruments when they got a little older into their late 20's and 30's, especially Angus.
@@perpetualmotion357I can’t even count how many times I’ve said this exact paragraph over the years to people who don’t listen to anything after (either) Highway or BiB. Kindred spirits, my friend!
@@YesManNomad The longer his hair got, the better he played. By the mid 80's the band has 10 years under their belt as a professional act, and imo in their prime when practically at the top both physically and mentally. Constant shows and tours, never letting their chops get rusty..They were a well-oiled machine live in the 80's and up till the end of TRE. They never recaptured that same energy when they took their first hiatus(which they deserved) and came back with Ballbeaker. I'm glad Donnington was filmed the way it was and we got a double disc Live from TRE tour.
I love "Playing with Girls".Great song!!!! An underrated album. The energy of the songs is wauuuu!!!!
The riff is insane AF 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you! you can actually hear brian's voice, me being a singer myself I appreciate that, this is the version I'll be listening to now
1st Acca Dacca album I bought with my own money when it dropped.
I still remember going to the cassette carousel at the store my mom worked at, getting the key, unlocking the door and sliding it out.
So strange I remember it that clearly...
Still got mine!
Fly on the wall has been one of top 5 favorite albums and I never understand the hate for it. This is amazing though as I can finally hear Brian clearly.
and Cliff, even he was really quiet
It was the poor production . . . too much reverb on Brian's vocals, you couldn't hear the Bass at all and even the Rhythm Guitar is muffled
@@Vatch1966 its the 80s reverb era. every rock bands were doing it. still sounds great
Nah. It was poorly mixed because Malcolm and Angus mixed it. After splitting from Lang. Unfortunately.
Finally I can hear Brian and Cliff clearly, Malcolm too.
Can hear Cliff so much better now. Underrated bass player.
this is a great album, it deserves a better sound indeed
I always liked this album. But now, I LOVE IT!! This needs an official release on CD and Vinyl! 👍
This has improved it beyond belief. The songs are absolutely fantastic. What a great album it could have been!
Wow! Always dreamed how this album would have sounded all cleaned up and this is the closest so far. Well done. Had the band cleaned it up and released it much later it would have way more success.
Holy shit, someone actually did it! I've been bitching about the awful mix on this otherwise awesome album and now I can truly enjoy it!
Thanks a million!
Wow I can actually hear Cliff clearly
I love his bassline for Sink the pink and fly on the wall
My favorite AC/DC album with a perfect production.... 🥰😍 NOW i can understand what Brian is singing, it makes a nice change ! 😄
Awesome !! Remember being at my local Record store whern this Album came out in the 80s ! Listening at it thru Headphones at LOUDEST LEVEL & HEADBANGING for 2 hours before Buying it !🤘😆🤘😆🤘
Sounds amazing! This mix really brings out the sheer quality of these very much underrated songs. I´ve always been thinking that the poor mixing made the songs more worse than they really actually are. Your mix rocks!
My favourite AC/DC album by far.

YESSSSSSSSS. THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE
I can actually hear the bass guitar!!!!! The Young's did Cliff and this album wrong buy drowning his bass in the mix... Brian sounds more intelligible as well!
AWESOME!!!!! Sempre imaginei como seria esse albúm com uma melhor produção sonora. Muito obrigado, vcs são demais!!!
Eu também! Agora é muito bom!
This remix is killer!
love you AC/DC Portugal 😿🖤
this is bloody briliant
Thank you AC/DC Portugal!
My favourite album after BIB ❤️🤘
Many thanks AC/DC Portugal🤘
Thanks!!! 🙂
It has improved!! Better Cliff, Brian and more balanced mix in general.
The improvement is very noticeable in "First Blood"
Great remix. I love the original but this is interesting!
bass is great!!!
To be honest Fly On The Wall is my #1 favorite AC/DC Album, don't get me wrong I like all of AC/DC Albums, but if someone ask me what my favorite AC/DC album is, it would have to go with Fly On The Wall.
I also have the AC/DC Fly On The Wall VHS Tape.
My first concert was AC/DC with Yngwie Malmsteen opening in '85 🎼🎸🎶🤘☇
Good work, bro!
Thanks for sharing!
🍻
Es el albun mas heavy de AC/DC !!
Me encanta!!
I have no problem with this record, the mix was just very frustrating. It's difficult to really get a sense of Brian's vocals (mix not his actual vocals) on the album (especially the chorus of FOTW). The reverb was a little frustrating. I know FOTS was dry and raw, but it wasn't very meshed up. Thank you for mixing this.
it sounds fucking great bro, are you going to do this with the Blow Up Your Video Album since it has the echo similar to the Fly On The Wall Album did
he already did it ages ago
@@alfe5992 yeah but it wasn't the full album
@@Randall935 it was you download it
@@alfe5992 oh shit fr
@@alfe5992 ye but asking if he can upload the fill thing to UA-cam like he has with ghis
Eagerly waiting.
Send For The Man is so so good! One of my favs from AC/DC. Love the fade as well sounds great! Great Remix!
Goddamn does Stand Up sound good!
Great!!!💪👊🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺💥
Heck ya. 🤩🤩 remixed~ 🥰❤️🔥💪🏻😎🤙🏻✨
Glad YOUR all happy, I lost $5 on a bet that Cliff wasn't on this album.
Заходит так же хорошо, как в 80-е.
Amazing
...I actually love the original mix on Fly on the Wall...but this is cool too
Excelente mezcla, muchas gracias!
Malgré qu'il n'a pas eu un grand succès mois je trouve qu'il est génial je me suis procurer cette album en vinyle
Pretty good job I wish the original album sounded more like Flick Of The Switch,I hope one day the band does an official remix and get rid of the vocal reverb, raises the bass, gives the drums more ommph
Génial !
Simon Wright on Drums
LOL what this extra mix of FOTW at the end? The "fuck you, Simon" mix? XD
Es exelente vital lleno de fuerza y crudo y muy sencillo en fin es hermoso, claro no es " black un black" pero bueno como nos tiene acostumbrado angus y cia......
You must mean a 'remaster' of sorts, rather than a remix? What was your source material for this? I'm not hearing a massive difference to the original but that's kind of expected without the source tracks to remix. I do hear the vocals more prominent and I can hear the bass even on small speakers, good work!
It's a bit closer to Flick of the Switch (& Ballbreaker, even). The guitars & drums are a bit muted from how they were originally, but Brian Johnson sounds a lot clearer for sure.
Genial! Se perdió presencia del bombo pero quedó mucho mejor!
UFFFFFFF 👌👍
Wish this album had Who Made Who production. They cleaned up the tracks on Fly for that record. I actually made my own WMW album and swapped out You Shook Me for Fly On The Wall. It's now a superior album. YSMANL is a great song don't get me wrong, but we've all heard it a million times. i personally think the Fly On The Wall track fits the record better and I personally like it more. This is such an underrated album. Angus's solo work is incredible.
Who Made Who had the same production, the bad 80s production with too much reverb on the buried vocal
The Fly tracks is the exact same mixes.
@@rabarebra I think that the the 2 tracks (Sink the Pink and Shake your Foundations) on WMW were remixed for WMW. If you listen to SYF (on WMW) Brian's voice is higher and in the middle, suggesting a different mix.
@@anaximander24 No, it is the same mix. WMW were just mastered so all tracks got equal level. That is not the same as a remix. A remix require all multitracks levelled (read: mixed) from scratch. WMW has no new mixes.
@@rabarebra got it
You did a good job with what you had to work with. To really fix this album AC/DC would have to go back to the original tracks and remove the terrible reverb they applied to Brian's vocals. The Shake Your Foundations remix from Who Made Who shows how much better the vocals could have been.
I hope they do this. They should apply Steven Wilson for the job. Fix Flick of the Switch as well, make it even more "hit in the face with gritty vocals and tight guitars". And reverb should be banned from any AC/DC record. Totally agree.
@@rabarebra
Angus would have to care enough to commission something like this, but he doesn't.
Is it actually remastered or is it just EQ??
Wow , great Job!!! FLY ON THE WALL has great songs, but the sound is weak. Now , it sounds fresh and strong. Great work!
I was 17 when this came out and it's always been my favorite. Every song is good, they still have lyrics about getting pussy and getting drunk and you don't get burned out on it from hearing the songs all the time. I love Back in Black but if I hear it one more time I'll probably go crazy.
Was flick of the switch album every done ???
That 10th years page
Fantastic, I always wanted to hear this album better mixed. Their other great album with an awful mix is Blow up your video. So many great songs, Very sad production.
❤
Bass needs to come down a couple of notches.
Is there any way we can hear these songs individually instead of all in one video?
Is this on Amazon Music maybe? ;)
How did you manage to find and pull out that bass in SYF? :) Seems like it's just completely absent from the original mix.
You can find the multi tracks on many records on the net and remix them
☕☕✍
the first dud from AC/DC after their greatest album flick of the switch
If this is considered a dud, then what does it say for the rest of the entertainment industry?
This album has some great energy and fun, and most importantly, a great vibe.
Bollocks, this is such an underrated album. So much better than Ballbreaker, Stiff Upper Lip, Razors edge... In fact all the 90s albums...
@@timothya.olmeda7299 well compared to everything from the first album of the flick of the switch and f .o .t. w. is a dud I mean any tin eared audiophile can hear how horrible the mix was
@@thomasmcdonald3196 it's shite just like all those other releases you mentioned flick of the switch Remains the last real AC/DC record ever recorded
@@ralphtom3431
It was supposed to be that way, another album that differentiates from its predecessor subtlety, just as in the manner of FOTS, produced by the band themselves.
You must remember, this was late 1984 when the band produced it on their own in Switzerland. It was their first production by the band, and it still holds up today as being a fan favorite for many reasons.
It was also rereleased and remastered nearly twenty years ago.
Who cares about the production of an ac/dc album after they have already been down that road and were worldwide known for it through “Mutt” Lange.
This was their second effort on their own, which was exciting at the time for those who were paying attention to the band and its efforts.
Personally, I think the intro to the song “Send for the Man” is huge, as well as other songs throughout the album.
Maybe it’s because I always had a killer sound system that brought out the greatness of those albums during the mid-eighties.
.
But trying to compare an ac/dc album to the ones “Mutt” Lange did and to others who produced the band is being nit-picky.
I would gladly take Fly On The Wall over the majority of albums released during this time.
And finally, a huge reason that many love a particular album is because of their life experiences during its release.
And for me, not only was I deep into ac/dc at that time and heavily influenced by them, but it also holds a lot of great memories, which includes the album Blow Up Your Video, another album I adore.
What is great about ac/dc is, whatever subtle differences between their albums in the past 5 decades is greatly accepted by their loyal longtime fans. Even if it’s just a change in the production, for better or, quite frankly, for not.
I will admit that the lyrical content was very minimal and scarce for FOTW, but the songs themselves still brings chills up and down my spine.
Was this done in deep remix?
Can you do AC/DC Live Paris Videos not The Full Concert ok
And this is
AWESOME AND APPRECIATED AND GREAT
Great! Now, can you please put Bon Scott in it?
Where’s the kick drum?
Why does the description say (also added fly on the wall and “she” your foundations shouldn’t it be shake your foundations)
Awesome! Now fix Blow Up Your Video.
Would say the drums are a bit low and the Bass is up a little too much... Better, than original though... 👌
I think the bass is intentionally more obvious, since it's by far the largest change to the mix.
Needs the drums higher bro.😪 in the first fly.
Casi todos afirman ser un álbum flojo!!! Pues yo digo y mi opinión personal que es muy buen álbum hasta creo que mejor que " stiff uper
Weno iwal ganarle a Stiff Upper Lip no es tan complicado
It was their worst album for production, this is better...
Can you please try and take an AI voice of Bon Scott onto a few of BJ area albums?
For fark sake ..what is every body in a pickle about ..It was the farking 80s ,,it was a time of experimental reverbs and rooms and mics to try get that live ambient sound ,,no one got it right ..Led Zepplin ,,were responsible for this trend .and a lesser extent ,Jazz bands ,Live wet sounds ..AC/DC were no strangers to exploring reverbs back then ,,leave it alone ..It is what is for the era of the 80s ..it was one or 2 albums of exploration on reverbs ,,woopy doo ..critics ,,, AC/DC were always a sound band ..not a technical band ,,fark off critics ,,
You ever wanna really see how much they changed after bon died? Listen to riff raff, or down payment blues, and then listen to danger.
Lmao
I think would be more fair to compair Danger to lets say, love song, but you are right, they changed their sound a lot. But in the end they Always sound amazing.
@@otaviorocha4156 they went from a more bluesy kind of sound to their own sound. Thats the difference
Don't try to fix what is not broken...
Dude, this album has always been really broken by bad 80s hair-metal production.
Can you do BLOW UP YOUR VIDEO too
