As someone who was driving it for over a year, i have to say that the guy behind the sticks is doing it quite conservatively... This thing can tear up the asphalt and it can do it way much faster. but it is great vid in any case! Thx!
@@standardheat-fs8159 I was joking, its a hypocritical thing in EU, we tax the shit out of gas (petrol) cars and diesel cars for personal transport. In The Netherlands for example you easily pay 200 euros a month in tax just to drive a petrol or diesel car. However all the lorries/18-wheelers and taxi's are exempt from the tax (all run on diesel, which is horrible for the environment). So its just another way to squeeze some more tax out of the average joe and has 0 to do with environment.
Well the Leopard is still way more protected against rockets, HEAT FS and also against anti tank ammunition, the T72 on the other hand only has a good protected front, bad crew safety, no protected ammo storage and no protected sides! Especially this version of the T72 is very bad protected, tanks like the Abrams, Leopard, Leclerc, Challenger and so on are much better on the other hand!
@@standardheat-fs8159 This one has the sideskirts removed, but with the ERA bricks on the side it is equal to if not better than the Leopard. Not to mention it has anti-radiation systems and an autoloader which contribute to crew efficiency, and it costs a fraction of the Leo. Its a better tank.

Plus, they have proven to be largely useless in combat as when the ammo burns, the heat it generates forces the crew to have to evacuate the tank, and does NOTHING for its ability to fight. T-72 is arguably MORE safe since the ammunition CANNOT be hit when the tank is even semi-hull down.
