    Thanks.... Is there any way of renaming the repeater access point ? I ask as in some areas of my home devices pick up the weaker of the 2 wifi signals which both have the same name (access point & repeater), so I have to go to the room that the stronger signal is coming from and connect there and then return to where I was sitting.

      There is no option to change the wireless name of the wireless network created by the repeater.

    For win 11 how can i find network preferences? Or how can i do the rest of sittings, olso if the "D-link" open network doesn't exist when the device working after a did the reset to it is that mean the device isn't working or what should i do to make it working as a repeater to my Wifi ?!!

    Hey, Thank you for the instructions, do I have to keep the internet cable on the Dap after the set up

      Hello, If the DAP is configured in the access point mode then you will have to keep the Ethernet cable connected. If configured in repeater mode then you can unplug the Ethernet cable.

    I have one question!
    With that DAP-1360 repeater, I can config it for Repeater mode so that it connects by wifi to my main router and expand the signal, and I can connect a RJ45 cable to the LAN port and connect it right in my computer to get better signal? Or it only provides Wi-fi signal in repeater mode?
    I have bad signal in my computer office, but the router is in a part of the house far from my computer so I dont have way to connect it with RJ45 directly in the main router. So my idea was to buy this DAP-1360, put in my office, configure it as repeater via Wi-fi to the main router and then connect my PC with RJ45 to the DAP-1360 repeater.
    Was I clear? Let me know if you can help me! :D

      DAP-1360 configured in Repeater mode provides internet access from both Wi-Fi as well as from LAN port of DAP-1360. Yes!, you can access internet from LAN port of DAP-1360 to your PC.

    Its a bit different in windows 10 could you share the settings for windows
    It needs
    Ip adress
    Subnet prefix length
    Gateway
    Preferred dns
    Alternative DNS

    What is the wireless client mode use for and what is the difference between wireless client and repeater mode? Thanks

      In a wireless client mode the device is allowed to becomes a wireless client to another AP or wireless router and in a repeater mode it will repeat the wireless network of another router.

    Today 05/18/2020 i was trying to set up my router but when try to go to 192.168.0.50 it doesn´t opens and i try it on my phone too and it says that the time of response expired or something like that so i can´t continue with the set-up

      Ok i got it so
      I’m using it to conectado the computer but once is set up I can’t enter again to the dap access options because if I enter 19216811 I enter in the internet modem but impossible to conect to dap also when is working as a repeater without cable thanks for your help

      You would require a computer or a laptop to setup the device for the first time. Once the setup is complete then you can use your mobile phones or wireless devices to connect to the network.

      Kindly check the password and the security settings on the back end router. As the security settings on the repeater has to be the same as that of the router.

    This is no help to me. You waste time showing what's written on and what's in the box - I know that - but then when you get to the important stuff, 2 mins 19 seconds, you start opening up windows but with no indication whatsoever of where from. Like where do I find "Open Network Preferences"?

      The router configuration in the above video is done on a MAC computer. If you are using a windows operation system, you will have to open control panel and got to network and sharing center. Under that you will have to click "Change adapter settings" and under Local Area connections you will have to assign the mentioned IP address.
