How do you list from ComC to EBay? How does the item then get shipped? And how much do you pay for shipping? Selling on EBay you will get their fees as well as ComC fees? Sorry for all the Q's, you do a great job. It might help people if you showed them how to use the system rather than showing the cards you flipped, just a thought or suggestion 😉😉. Love your work James! Keep it up. Aussie!
Your cards are automatically listed on EBAY as part of COMC's deal with them, in a 'Buy it Now' capacity at whichever price you've set for it. If there's multiple copies of a card for sale, it will appear in a drop down menu on the COMC EBAY listing, like those 'pick a player' listings, but with differing prices for the same card. Then, you can also seperately request a card go off for auction. If you do, your card will get inspected (beware unforseen 'condition notes', as many cards won't be truly inspected until you attempt to list them in a personal auction) and listed ithin a week or so. Also, when you do choose to auction a card, it will alays start at 99c, so you cant set a reserve price of $25, and not sell the card if $25 isn't attained. You'll probably also notice a slightly lower sale price than expected on these auctions, as COMC charges fairly high shipping rates, and most bidders factor that in on cards under a certain value.
Aloha !!! Ahoy Matey!!! We Did it !!! We are out on the water enjoying the beautiful sunny day before the storm All is well Enjoying RunGoodLife on UA-cam from the boat See you in the livestream 🤙
When it says "ebay" you send them through ebay auction via comc or are items bought from people directly on ebay? Hope I explained myself good. Keep it up man, you're great!
A buddy I work with pulled a Wayne Gretzky buyback autograph #/10 from UD E-pack. He transferred it to COMC, and priced it at like a dollar by accident, and it sold right away. He was so panicked, said he called the cust. supp. line, and told them what happened. Apparently you get *ONE* of those mistakes forgiven, no more. He got so lucky he didnt lose out all together on that one. He was also of the opinion it was worth $5k, even though all the comps were $800-$1200 for autographed Gretzky buyback cards. But he saw one listed at $5k, so it was def. worth $5k in his mind. He also figures he might be able to pull $100k for it if it grades a PSA10. I'm not even kidding. He's a 'funny' guy. He also put about 50 or so cards up for auction on COMC at once, and even though they recommend you only auction cards you think you can pull $10 or more from, he went ahead and posted a bunch of dollar cards, and ended up with a negative $150 balance on the site. Like I said....'funny' guy
If you grossly mid price a card they will do their best to reverse it. I hate that they do not do anything to dissuade people from sending low dollar cards to auction.
Hey RunGoodLife, just curious if making this spread sheet u did anything to make all the totals and up or you did that yourself. Been trying to get a spreadsheet for a grip but havent had luck making one... thanks
how are you able to immediately sell cards on eBay that you originally acquired the same day in from a comc purchase? (e.g. the kobe's, acquired 1/19 and sold 1/19 to ebay) edit: someone else answered in another comment; when you put a card for sale on comc, it automatically gets listed on ebay with a buy it now for the comc price + ebay fees
With COMC, you buy a card and it goes into your online inventory. It stays in COMC's posession, so until someone physically ships a card to themselves, it's all digital ownership.
New idea, 24 hour livestream where you just sit and watch the recently added refresh lol
I would do this.

How long is the current turn around time if you send a few hundred cards?
Have no clue. Weeks to months beyond the stated timeframe.
Have to add $ signs to that spread sheet just a small pet peeve of mine lol

Comc automatically lists all their cards on their own marketplace for sale on eBay via an algorithm.

So how do you price them out after you’ve made the purchase?
Basically just double what you paid?
It really depends. I'm always looking to make at least double on a flip, unless a card is very liquid (sells a lot).

Comc generates the spreadsheet for you. I just added some totals together.
