I grew up in El paso, Tx. We'd get wind gusts up to 70 coming down the mountain. I have seen trees fly into people houses from just wind. I remember one day getting the trash bins from the street a sandstorm came through the neighborhood and i had to lay the bin over and get inside the trashcan just so i could breath. Definitely windy in that part of the US.
Commenting as I watch. Cloudcroft is super cool, really good vacation spot. A little further into the mountains is Ruidoso, There is a lake called Grindstone. Used to be a massive quarry its about 700ft deep and full of water. Favorite swimming spot in those mountains. they also have a few breweries and Native American culture up there.
The smile/smirk when you putting diesel in the wrangler & someone said..."can't get it in?" 😅 I don't think we ever grow up. Love Episode 2 & I definitely want to go to Carlsbad Caverns now!! That looked amazing. Also, here out in the county in Texas...coyotes are of abundance. I live in the middle of no where & go to sleep many nights hearing them sing loudly. I've camped on the ground with them close. They have never bothered me & you to get used to them.
I am new to the channel, as of today in fact! Absolutely love your adventure so far and I look forward to seeing more! I have a new channel as well, and I hope to do some amazing adventures soon! Keep up the great work!
