Piranha Plants in Mario are based on Audrey II
Also Jack Nicholson was in the first movie the black and white one
the color one with Steve Martin and Rick Moranis is a remake and it has two endings i prefer the ending where they have their house and theres a little Audrey 3 in the garden that smiles at the camera .. i know the original play/musical ending the plants take over .. and yes they did film that for the 80s remake that is the ending for the directors cut .. so i wish it was release as a two disc set original theatrical/home video ending and then directors cut ending
and you just mentioned the black and white version and Jack Nicholson ..
but it was a musical/play before is was the black and white so it went play movie play movie probably one of the only times .. thats happened
also Levi Stubbs the voice of Audrey II is the voice of Mother Brain in the Captain N Nintendo Cartoon from the 80s
