The Best Strategy For Learning Algorithms
Вставка

- In this video, I go over my process for learning algorithms quickly and easily. When done properly, you can use this strategy to learn many algorithms at once. I learned 12 ZBLLs in an hour with it, and I use two of them as a demonstration for you to use this method. I hope you enjoy the video!

Hey guys! Make sure to leave a comment and tell me what you think of the strategy, and what algs you're going to learn with it!!
the website you linked is great, thank you
yeah, I love it. you're welcome!
I will learn oll and pll with this strategy
good for you!!
I will learn CSP and OLL with this strategy. (CSP is kinda algorithmic so I would count it.)
If you're interested, my name is Joe Riggs, Mentalist and memory trainer, as well as cube fanatic. Ive been learning CFOP for the past few months and being a memory trainer and consultant, I used the techniques I teach, to memorize OLL & PLL algs. I memorized all OLL ags in 2 days. And the 21 PLL algs in an afternoon. Easy system and it makes memorizing them really fast. After that it's all practice to get them into muscle memory. I can share the techniques I used for the memorizing if desired.
Would you be interested in collaborating with me on a video about the topic? I'd love to talk to you and plan something like that
Yes you should do it :D
Yes pls
Please do
Please
Remembers all the g perms
Gets confused because you use the wrong alg in the wrong situtation
I never had that with g perms
@@ivostoutjesdijk7883 Good for you
@@ethanhayes3676 if u recogonize them by looking at the headlights and the block its easy, headlights are all in the left and block is switiching postions only
@@joaocascao556 I was making a joke
NOTHING BUT YES. Definitely one of the best cubing videos I've ever seen.
For me, it's just practicing over and over again, until I can do it smoothly by muscle memory.
Junting Fsr there are some algs that just doesn't work with
JDJCubing Anything's possible
JDJCubing i agree, brody’s method is probably the best way to learn algs.
I learned all the oll algs ! But because of a very important exam I had to quit cubing for a couple of months!
My exams will start from 7march and will end in 29 March
Iam soo exited to get back into cubing!!
Good luck with your exams, and congrats on learning full OLL!!
@@BrodytheCuber thanks!! Brody
Bro same here..I too have exams in same time.. atb for ur exams
@@srikar6484All the best to you too buddy!!
Same
I’m definitely using this for OLL. Thanks for the great video!
Congrats on 20,000 subs!
Just the right video! You had the algs I needed to memorize
I'm going to use this to learn all my future algs, so full PLL and then OLL
Nice methods. Thanks for the video. That first one is how I learn them best.
I think mentioning you learned 12 ZBLL’s in an hour is a bit arbitrairy considering this is probably the easiest ZBLL subset.
5 of the algs are a combination of 2 sune’s/anti-sune’s. 6 of the remaining 7 can easily be considered 3 algs as they are mirrors of each other ad then 1 more alg which is the Hperm one.
Also I’d say that the 2GLL ZBLLsubsets are the easier ones to “come up” with triggers for.
Not saying that the info in the video is wrong, it definitely works. The example that you show though makes it look a lot easier than it actually is. I consider this whole set to be just 4 algs rather than 12.
yeah I guess, but then again, that part of the video doesn't really matter compared to the rest of the video like you said
Love the video. I’m going to start by learning the gb perm and gc perm
Thanks sir for making this video
Thx , quite helpful. using this to learn g perms (once I learn them I will know full PLL)
I love this cube
thanks, I hope I will be able to learn all the pll easier thanks to you
thanks for the tutorial brody!!!
you're welcome!
Thanks Brody!
you are very welcome
congrats on 20k
thank you
Great video mate =)
Thanks Igor! What did you like about it?
Nice video!
Thank you shuo!!
Always like your video before watching
Thanks
thank you
you're welcome!!
I either write the alg down or type it in a text document and break it into small pieces memorize a small bit at a time and add on to it
I learned two algorithms today :) Only took twenty or so minutes. Triggers really help.
Gonna use this for my G, N and R perms that I still have to go before full pll
where can I find the optimized / best algorithms for each CFOP step?
Thanks! I had a bit of trouble with this when I learned COLL since they looked pretty much the same.
But srsly in CSP it's so hard to tell which alg solves even parity and which alg solves odd parity...
One look what?
Tomorrow I will learn some zbll!
I will learn oll and pll. Btw i almost know full oll just around 10 algs left but i need to train them.
You can do the yellow cross and do the ZBLL?Or is too slow?Whic is better? do the standard algorithm for OLL and the standard algorithm for PLL?
Sometimes you can do that, but usually it's faster to just do OLL and PLL.
good question
I love your videos!
Thank you Ryan! Which one is your favorite?
@@BrodytheCuber I generally like the videos that apply to all cubers across all levels, like "Winning Doesn't Matter" and "Your Cube is not the Problem"
Yeah, those are pretty good ones. Often the videos with the best lessons aren't the same as the best videos cinematically or the ones that took the most work
Just curious, which videos are the most fun to make?
The ones that are the most fun are whenever I feel like I've made something fresh and original that nobody else has made before. When I started doing facecam stuff, that was a lot of fun as well. And I've got a collab in the works that I think is going to be a ton of fun.
Could this strategy work for megaminx pll and does the site have megaminx plls?
Yes, this works for megaminx PLL, but I don't think that the site has a trainer for them
Not see the video but already like
Can you make a video on all algorithms for f2l but with execution
Nice
OK guys I have never bought a professional speed cube before so I keep thinking either gts3m or gan354m or gan356x
I don't rly like the giiker so u might think I won't like the gts3m but I don't know that yet pls tell me what is a SAFER option
TheIceCubes Gan is a safer option, but the price point is a bit steep. Also each persons idea of the best cube is different. What’s ur average time and what do you cube on currently?
@@yusufs6517 uh about 27-33 secs
TheIceCubes if I were you I would maybe post this question on r/cubers in reddit under the daily discussion thread. Each cube is different and it’s really down to personal opinion
Ur already at 20k??!!!!!!
Gonna use this to learn CMLL
same!
Can you do the same thing for learning cll on 2x2? I’m going to try this out.
yeah of course you can do it for 2x2
Do you know of any tools like bestsiteever.ru with other alg sets like COLL or Winter Variation?
Unfortunately I don't think so. Hopefully those will be added in the future
Ok, thanks anyways
no problem, I'll try to remember to tell you if it does get added
this is a good strategy, and i will go learn coll
Good for you! I have a lot of tutorials for COLL cases, and you can watch them here: ua-cam.com/play/PLI2io2xGpVUdpdwJs7mfyDyi7lJ6gnGY-.html

How do I get sub 20 ???
If I cant use lookahead ive been sub 30 for weeks now and I still don know how to get sub 20 without lookahead
How do you practice, and how much do you practice?
nice
Hey bro, need your help. I am cubing for last 3 months. I have learnt full pll, 38 oll cases. I have also leanrt advance f2l techniques. But still my avg is around 29 sec. I have recorded my solves on camera and when i compared my video to other fast cuber's video i found my tps very slow. Give me some advice.
It isn’t your tps, you’re pausing too much. Stop learning algs and work on your lookahead
@@zacharymillercubing Probably not lookahead yet, but efficiency and good habits
Yeah, I used to pause A LOT, but now I look ahead more and average 20 seconds, with 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL
How do I start learning zbll? Or shall I just learn COLL first?
COLL first, definitely. COLL gives you a better intro to more advanced recognition
@@BrodytheCuber thanks for the reply! I have learnt a quarter of COLL before, three quarter to go!
I made NLS it stand for navrajs last slot it has 50 algorithms
The most common cases make a cross not really common cases make the whole oll rare cases make oll and pll I'm going to make a video about it then can you react and give opinions Brody from navraj
Gan x setup?
I may learn full OLL now
I personally use Jperm's website for training
The tough scenarios for me are VLS cases, not really an easy way to train those, or set them up for that matter.
There is 1 oll algorithm left for me to learn...
I'm too lazy
which one?
@@BrodytheCuber oll 49 (and a mirror)

BrodytheCuber lube?
Moyu or gan ?????

Can you do a video about OH oll
yeah, I'm planning on doing that. I don't use very many OH specific OLLs but I know some
Yo ma man brody, do u have any advice to get sub 15? it would help a lot of us
For sub 15, I'd really make sure that your efficiency is as perfect as possible and that you don't have any bad habits (extra U moves, cube rotations, etc) and know full 2 look last layer. That's the generic stuff that applies to everyone
Thx love u
I start learning oll algorithms first not pll algorithms. Is that ok or i have to learn pll first?
you should learn PLL first. It will be more helpful for you
OK.Thank you!
Thank U ,U R AwEsOmE Too
A few months ago, I learned full pll in one day. Not joking. I knew like 7 of them already but still I don’t know how I did it in like 2 hours.
I use it for oll
Who else always likes his videos before watching😂!
Me
Does zbll mean pll skip?
Pretty much, yes. As long as you get a cross OLL, you can use ZBLL to get a PLL skip.
If you get a cross oriented on the LL, you can do a ZBLL to solve the rest of the cube, ie orient the corners and do PLL at the same time. I think there are 493 cases, so only a handful of people actually know full ZBLL.
Will you do a giveaway for 20,000 subs?
probably
Well I'm just sub-11 and I haven't learned full OLL yet... So that probably.
What ?? How?? Lol
