My father was a graduate of and the second dean of the School of Pharmacy at Duquesne. I hadn't thought about the Tamburitzans for years. We attended a performance long, long ago after we had left Pittsburgh. I was reminded today after watching some Russian folk dances. The Tamburitzans are marvelous! I will introduce my friends.
The entire group was much more back then. I still watch them but it has become more difficult to be honest. The current season smh. I cringed pretty hard at their recent concert in the park.
