Isn't there a bump stop that goes inside the coil spring? When I was working on end links, I saw what looked like remenents of a bump stop lodged in the middle of the coil spring loosely setting on the bottom.
is it the same procedure on 2003-2006 kia sorento?
I have sorento and exactly the same design, I feel rough and harsh ride it has new shocks, foes the coil spring do that or what else can do that I feel uncomfortable when I ride the vehicle
It depends on the data of your vehicle.

So if I were to do this at home, I would need two jacks - one to lift the car and one to compress the spring to remove the bolt?
Thank you for your feedback! We do not recommend that you leave your car hang on the jack. Please, use the special car supports, after this we will be able to use the same jack to press the spring. Best regards, Autodoc.
Are the spring same for both sides?
I mean right side spring and left side spring are same?
The springs are the same per axle.
replacing them with each other is also the same.
The springs are different between the front axle and the rear axle.
@@autodocuk Wow. Thanks for the quick reply.
I changed 1 of my rear springs(bought used spring). After that Im experiencing rolling. What cud be the cause? Is there a sway bar on the rear side for 2012 hyundai elantra?
For Santa Fe (CM) KYB Code 3440028 or 341716 is compatibile for? (i order 3440028 but the collar of the upper case is smaller than original one)

Anyone have the Torque Specs for the Lower Control Arm bolt?
You can find out all the regulatory values of the tightening torques in the technical documentation for your car.
AUTODOC
@@autodocuk Found it here: www.hyundai-forums.com/threads/suspension-torque-specs.643783/
How much different is this than a 2011 Sorento?
Thank you for your comment.
In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing that may differ slightly in the design features of your car.
Best Regards,
Autodoc team
@@autodocuk thank you. Do you see coils slipping much when compressing them to put the control arm bolt back on?
Not sure if the job would go that easy, the lower mounting will be stuck as hell
Thank you for the feedback! This video is considered to be an informative one, and it shows the sequence of repairs, so some stages of the repairs might have been excluded. Best regards, Autodoc.
