Kyper is right. Stolarz made a ton of saves on Tuesday. Then, the following day, Stolarz gets the net again and now he is hurt. He may have earned the start... but the team needs to be smart with their two injury-prone goalies.
On Reaves, just ask any Leaf player if they like having him in the lineup. The Leafs don't get bullied anymore since Reavo came. Kyper was right when he said there has been no reason to fight so far. He's played over 1000 NHL games, he knows what he's doing.
Love the show as always. I'm really intrigued about the Leafs rolling into motor city. I don't care who wins, I just want to see who can put the puck in the net from either squad.
Sometimes a player doesnt always know what is best for him. Kyper is right. Very surprising move by Leafs coaching staff. The smarter choice would've been a well-rested Joseph Woll.
Stolarz has had BOTH knee's operated on before his 25th Birthday......He has NEVER been a starter. He has played more this year than any other in his Pro career.....and he is injured.......What does that tell you?
Why is the "day to day" status a problem for Sammy? Who cares? When he's in he's in. Why do these media guys always mewl like a kitten sucking on a hind teat about injury reports. Hayes on Overdrive is the same. STFU about it already. Day to day means out of the lineup until they're in. Get over it, guy. Seriously
Yo, the team does not owe anyone an explanation for their own players' injury ... I see no point of us (fans, media) knowing, ESPECIALLY the other teams (it's going to be an advantage, even knowing if it's serious or not). And, complaining about your team's tight-lipped policy on player injury is asinine at best, it's something you don't need to know. Why do you need to know? So you can precisely pray for whatever is ailing that player? So you can play doctor and prescribe some medicine, wtf?
@@cainesy7913 negative i stand by my incoherence but seriously skinner is a good goalie was literally one win away from the stanley cup so asking if he can do it again is kinda dumb he made it to the finals last year and will again this year
Doug never disappoints. Unreal assessment
This was an awesome episode boys. Mac's stories about being a GM were wild. Best content on the interweb

Large holes in that logic.

Reaves is a disgusting cheap shot artist....a goon. Nothing more.
Good show
YESSS GUYS! Thank you for bringing up Brock Nelson! He is the one I want the Leafs to trade for.
Robertson, Jarnkrok, 2nd Round Pick for Brock Nelson. And, then..... Hakanpaa & 6th Rd Pick for Luke Schenn.

I’m with Nick. Stolie needed more rest & recovery than 48 hours. Hopefully Leafs don’t have a rickety tandem for the playoffs.

Why are they assuming knee. Prob. Groin

Why didn't they call up the goalie with better stats? Try 1 game with him.
Sam…😢

Take a moment to plan your sentence more carefully.
