As a non native english speaker I use the captions because I need them, yeah, I can't always understand what they say just from the audio, but the jokes in the captions have never bothered me, since they always distinguish it from the captured audio (with parenteses usually) and just in general aren't really out there things, they usually match the tone of the episode and capture the energy of the moment. I think it's actually a nice way of translating some of the tonal jokes you don't always get with just a transcript. But I get that viewpoint too, it can be hard to adjust to it if you aren't used to it and depend upon the captions, but do you really think they hinder and make understanding the episode more difficult?
This Adventuring Party episode is so nostalgic to me, really invokes the feeling of "I've been up 24 hours, and I've spent the last 8 to 12 with a group of my friends, and we've been eating and having a blast and laughing the entire time, and now we're high off the laughter and right on the brink of passing out".

Rekha was so freaking hilarious for this bit. She just can't be stopped; she got randomly pregnant and gave birth during her first Sidequest season; later one she took a dump on Grant's character to try to save his life, now she's mad her roll for oils on a sweaty t-shirt couldn't be thrown in front of a car her character was driving going 4,000 mph without a near impossible roll succeeding.
Getting pregnant and giving birth was far from the most random choice she made during Bloodkeep. I think it bears repeating that she was giving birth WHILE FALLING OUT OF AN AIRSHIP. And that the elf-balloon still trumps that in hilarity and absurdity.
I'm not sure her pregnancy in Bloodkeep was random, but she did consciously choose to have her character go into labour while plummeting from the airship. Rekha's swings are wild and we love her for it.
