A 50-minute documentary about the blessed Elder Joseph of Vatopedi (1921-2009).
An attempt is made to describe the long-suffering life of the bessed Elder Joseph of Vatopedi and to capture the personality, of a monk who was a disciple of Saint Joseph the Hesychast and lived the ascetic monastic life for 72 years.
With numerous events, testimonies and documents that shed light on many aspects of the spiritual path of one of the holy figures of Mount Athos of our time, whose life was full of ascetic struggles, self-denial and patience, but above all immeasurable evangelical love.
At the same time, original unpublished references are presented about persons who marked the life of the Elder, such as Saint Joseph the Hesychast, Saint Ephraim of Katounakia, Saint Paisios the Athonite, and others.

Excellent documentary, made me cry tears of joy for such a wonderful man. God willing he will be sainted one day. Paphos has a special place in my heart as this is where when I visited on holiday Jesus put me over his shoulder and carried me back to the flock… true miracle I never thought possible from the place I was stuck in! Glory to god! doing research into this area now I know why it’s so blessed there. Thank you all the holy people of Cyprus! Pray for our souls Elder Joseph ☦️

Great news, but absence of Russian subtitles is disappointing. Not that we need it that much, but the subtitles would look good just as a matter of respect.

not yet but yes soon he will be a SAINT HE WAS A SAINT he smiled one and half hour after his death.he wrote 17 books unbelievable books even though he went to school only for 3 4 years.and THE BEST HE RAISED A DEAD MAN IN CYPRUS with his prayer.he was A ORTHODOX HUMBLE TITAN

Στο Άγιον Όρος γίνονται ΚΑΘΗΜΕΡΙΝΑ Θείες Λειτουργίες, Εσπερινοί, Αγρυπνίες. Το να γίνεται όμως αναμετάδοση είναι άλλο θέμα.
