@@JT-oc2dnThanks for not being disrespectful while asking this. This is very hard to explain without gnosis or direct experience or insight. However, this has to do with the fact that we are constantly perturbed by the five hinderances and by our desires. For most of us, our minds are undeveloped and so unless we renounce the world, balance ourselves, and purify our minds, we are unable to recall such deeply recessed information. Once we can have access to “God,” or our highest self, after perfection of this work, then we don’t have to ask anyone else this question because the answer is found within. We no longer have to base our opinions or reality on the opinions of others who have not done the work to reach the mind-states which allow for us to understand this truth. We have a consistent string of lives resulting from desire and karma. You aren’t exactly the same person or soul going from life to life, but a consciousness/tab of karma that keep coming back until we understand we are “not-self.” The first words the Buddha uttered after enlightenment were “now there will be no birth for me, as the cause of rebirth is found and destroyed.” I suppose I do not believe in reincarnation of a “soul,” but instead, as I said above, a sort of “running tab” of karma kept in an individual consciousness which finds itself being reborn again into a human body due to the karma. When we become so balanced, such a “middle pillar,” that we no longer are a slave to the senses or karma, and we travel inward and experience enlightenment and so we know the truth, then we become enlightened and no longer have to come back and suffer. The consequences of our actions do not disappear upon death. We will keep coming back in one form or another until karma and desire cease. Only then are we freed from the cycle of constant rebirths. Let’s just say, every time you come back, you have a shot to find the truth and to stop creating karma for yourself, and to escape the wheel of Samsara.

    • @chrissyp9003
      @chrissyp9003 10 місяців тому

@@JT-oc2dnBesides if you lived forever you would become incredibly weary and disillusioned, especially when all of the people and things you loved came and went and you witnessed centuries of suffering and vexation around you. It is good not to remember things. It would hurt very much to remember loved ones from a past life too, or better times, or to remember deaths or traumatic events. Consider it a clean slate in order to experience life freshly and a new chance to find the truth.

My parents were WRONG 🚫 about a lot of things when they were raising me in the early stages of my life in the LATE 1980’s to the early 2000’s when it came to telling me how to be a grown adult. I literally had no idea what I wanted to be when I was 18 years old up until I was about 27 in 2012. But I always knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur/ businessman and own my own company. I must’ve been told by my parents that “you’re gonna FAIL son so you just better go work for the “MAN” instead and get 40-60 hrs” … you’re right “I absolutely DID fail in my business ventures but I did learn from my mistakes and I leveraged my mistakes to start NEW business ventures. I currently have paying clients that I am working for and assisting them with their business ventures and projects. I’m just getting started honestly but it does feel great bc I stopped caring and listening to my parents and proving them wrong 😁

Bedros - love what you have to say. In regards to college, I went to Johns Hopkins Uni and Stanford MBA but dropped out b/c my company was crushing it. Seeing it firsthand a lot of the kids at top Universities are now in great networks, can get crazy funding for projects and do go on to build some really good companies. If you come out debt-free it's a leg up on all these other "internet entrepreneurs." It's also an excellent place to meet co-founders (Paypal mafia). There are also professors at Harvard and Yale that are legit and have built multi-million/billion dollar companies.
If you play sports, it's even more fun (which I did) and it was an excellent 4 years. College and life is what you make of it. The stupid thing to do is to go into massive debt for a degree that doesn't make dough. So I'll give you that :)

In this UA-cam video, Bedros Keuilian discusses 14 hard truths that are often overlooked or avoided in life. These truths cover various aspects, from taking action and self-mastery to personal responsibility and relationships.
    Highlights
    - 💡 Truth #1: Avoid the curse of waiting and take imperfect action.
    - 💡 Truth #2: On your journey to self-mastery, you may lose most of your friends who don't understand your commitment to personal development.
    - 💡 Truth #3: No one is coming to save you; it's your responsibility to save yourself.
    - 💡 Truth #4: Governments and politicians are often liars and corrupt, and they won't fix your problems.
    - 💡 Truth #5: You'll need more money than you think, so prepare for financial challenges.
    - 💡 Truth #6: Stop blaming your parents for your problems and take personal responsibility.
    - 💡 Truth #7: Learn to let stupid people win arguments; it's not worth the frustration.
    - 💡 Truth #8: Focus on controlling your attention as a valuable superpower.
    - 💡 Truth #9: Women biologically detest weakness in men, so work on emotional discipline and mental toughness.
    - 💡 Truth #10: Most people won't understand your obsession and drive, so embrace the lonely journey to success.
    - 💡 Truth #11: Trying to make everyone else happy will lead to disappointment; happiness is an inside job.
    - 💡 Truth #12: Your body reflects your mental and emotional state, so prioritize your health.
    - 💡 Truth #13: You are not special, and no one owes you anything; success is earned.
    - 💡 Truth #14: Recognize that your parents were wrong about many things; question and learn from your own experiences and knowledge.
I good to hear the explanation of each one.

The best way, I've had to deal with 'stupid people' and their comments is by replying with "Well, if you think so". 😂😂😂

Hard truths are the best truths. I see more and more people wanting to be defined by their weaknesses and it drives me insane.
You kicked me into gear a few weeks ago. I found a workout plan that works around my injuries. Doing it. Once the weight starts coming off, there will be less strain on the injuries and I can ramp it up. That was basically the last hurdle. I've taken command of so many other things. There are people out there that have lost 200+ pounds without those awful surgeries, so I can lose 40. Luckily it's _only_ 40
The arguing with stupid people point is a huge one. I've got a longtime friend who is a very smart dude, makes good money as a web app developer for a *huge* company, etc. He'll tell me about how he argued with someone on Twitter or wherever else about some absolutely stupid topic, and I'm like...Kevin...stop it bro, you're smarter than this. I love that dude. Known him for like 25 years. He drives me nuts sometimes though.

Thank you so much for explaining how a woman feels towards men who are weak….. let me take a step back, and words out a little bit differently….. women are disgusted, repulsed by men who display extreme weakness. When I say weakness, I mean the wall with me, the crybaby, the helpless guy, the guy who needs you to believe in him, and micromanage him step-by-step in order for him to do something that he should be able to do on his own. Personally, if a man is showing emotion, then it needs to be something that’s going to push him harder and faster and higher up. That should be the outcome of any emotion. A man feels it should only drive him. It should not destroy him. For example, : If a man is feeling upset that he didn’t get a position that he wanted, it’s fine that he gets upset, but that feeling should lead him to being more determined and more driven even if that means going a different route. But if a man gets emotional about something, and it causes him to crumble and become consumed with angst and worry and pain that he is both verbally and physically displaying that it is just completely detestable to woman.
