I love this too. I actually see Dr Sam’s colleague at her clinic who recommended it to me to use over tretinoin at night. So I use tret, leave it for 30 mins, moisturise, leave that for a little while, then a thin layer of neutralising gel. Helps with redness and skin texture. My skin surprisingly likes it and think it’s a very elegant product
Actually I think it's very smart that she made those 2 products. I have acne prone skin but my skin hates salycilic acid in leave on forms but my skin loves Azelaic acid and niacinamide so Brigthly works great for me. I don't think that that particular product should be compared to other Azelaic acid serum. Since it has a medical level of salycilic acid (2%), SA seems to be the main active ingredient here so it looks more like a salycilic acid serum which is supported by Azelaic acid and backuchiol for extra benefits and to suit sensitive skin more.
I also love the brightly Serum, it's so nice and I get a lot of use out of both of those products in different ways. Interesting how your skin doesn't like salicylic acid in leave on forms. Azelaic Acid is so great for so many things.
Squalane forces me to pass on this, but 5% AA probably wouldn’t do much for my Rosacea. I’ll stick with Paula’s Choice AA but good to know about Dr. Sam’s products!
Her brightly serum would be the best choice for rosacea, it has 10% AA and, 5% niacinamide. I use her brightly serum and I have acne prone + very sensitive skin and I really love it.
I only apply it directly to pimples and it works much better for me than any spot treatment I've ever tried. A pimple disappears overnight and any mark left heals much quicker. It's actually my favourite product of Dr Sam's together with her hand cream. The cleanser and lip balm are also good, Brightly serum pills on me badly. Not impressed with the mineral sunscreens (tried both tinted and untinted one), they are too heavy on my oily/combo skin.
Because it has a mix of ingredients which are good for acne/sensitive skin. It's not an Azelaic serum so it should not be compared to other Azelaic acid serum. The main active ingredient is Salycilic acid which is in the product at medical level (2%).

My only go-to azelaic acid treatment is the Isispharma Teen Derm AZ. 15% Azelaic acid and really cheap

I was also not super fond of the sunscreens, although I do think they are reliable the finish isn't what I was hoping for.
Hope all is well💖. Haven't seen you in a couple of days! 💖💖💖
The 13 dot method is Dr Sam's method of applying skincare to the face.
Hello, have you tried the flawless moisturizer intense? Thoughts... love your opinions :):)
I have not but I will check it out because I've had pretty good luck with most of the products from Dr Sam's!
@@NOBSBeauty can't wait!! Btw her lip balm is amazing!, it's the only thing I've tried from her line and it's pretty awesome! :)
Which do you like more, the Dr Sam’s or Paula’s choice?
U look amazing😊
Wow! I may be 1st💗💗💗
Might as well just use azelaic acid all over face and spot treat with salicylic acid.
That's true as well, I bet a lot of people use it the way as well.
Doesn't make sense to pay almost $40 dollars for a 5% when you can get 15% or 20% for less than $20
where can you get 15% or 20% OTC? are you in the US?
@@ffffff1-mmmmDermatica. I got 20%. You don't have to follow their routines. You can just add stuff to your cart and check out
