This must have been the promo just before I started watching TV as a kid because the earliest one I remember is 🎶 "NBC The magic keeps on growing, NBC our pride is showing"🎶
About there for me (born in '77).
The Proud As A Peacock parody is great because, from 1979 to 1983, NBC was having a tough time in the ratings.
Johnny Carson that fall took shots at NBC's Proud as a Peacock for his 17th Anniversary show-the Peacock on that show lost its feathers.
I was born in 1973, and my favorite color is blue....
I said this to my than mother....her reply was.
That's funny, the hospital of which you were born...had a pet Peacock..
That was in 1983...summer.
I miss those days, I miss my parents...
