Dilly dally is a legit and great phrase that is not used enough. Gen Z needs to bring it back - they brought back bamboozled so they can do dilly dally! 🤣
Yesss dilly dally AND lolly gagging ~Gen X here and I say a lot of phrases that get me funny looks. On another UA-camrs video I said AH is crazier than a sh*t house mouse and ppl hadn’t ever heard that before lol 😂
My sister used to gait analysis at a running store when she lived down in Florida and she told me multiple times that Hokas were the best selling shoe! She got my mom hooked on them, because she's on her feet several hours of the day at her job, not a runner, and she swears by them!
LOVE my Hokas! I am normally a Brooks or ASICS girl, but the Hokas top those. They feel like wearing slippers when I’m running. So comfortable. Hope you enjoy them.
It is a great idea to let Gigi know it's ok to be nervous.... to this day i tell my daughter (now 25) when she's scared or nervous that Bravery Is Not The Absence Of Fear
I can totally feel your pain Jessica. My husband and I actually have to take our down comforter to the dry cleaners because it's too big for a washer and dryer at home. We had just gotten home with it got the bed all made but didn't bother to put the duvet cover back on because it's a pain in the butt and I wasn't in the mood. Needless to say the down comforter underneath is white and our puppy whose name is cuteness got a hold of a soy sauce packet from our Chinese delivery that night so we came into a enormous wet brown spot on the comforter. I'm sure you can imagine all of the things that I tried to guess that it was before we found the packet and realized what it was. Puppies are worth it but man can they push your buttons I should have named him Roger.
I was watching other videos on here, and thinking, "boy, I sure could watch a video or vlog from Jessica today!" Then, I received the notification. Awesome timing!! You cheered me up, when I needed it, Jess!! Thank you. You look soooo beautiful too!! I hope you're all doing well. Take care. ❤️
Jessica, YOU WIN FOR THE BEST BROWS on UA-cam! I have always found dilly-dally useful, but I’m 65 so… My 72 yr old dh is a forever runner, he’s hooked on Hoka shoes, he likes that they don’t wear down/out as quickly as all the rest. I love your family, your videos are wonderful! Our son and family moved and they talked of having a Meyers store (!) that is so unique :).
Thank you for this vlog, Jessica! You make me feel normal in taking care of my home and family. So often youtubers only upload the crazy parts of their lives, not the everyday. It can become hard to relate to them when they act like their life is never spent at home nor with their families. Anyway, this one was fun. I hope you have a lovely rest of your week!
I’ve always said Dilly Dally because my parents said it growing up. They also said we’ll be there in “two shakes of a lambs tail.” That one really freaks people out when I say it around literally anyone. 🤣
I have 2 daughters, one in college & one in high school. They both got the exact same pair of Hokas. They love Hoka & the color scheme was just what they wanted.💖
Omg i may be late on this but i recently watched the video where you guys talked about loving "the lake" when choosing the house and i remember thinking "aw that must be nice having it nearby!" but had no idea it was like THAT 🤣🤣❤ now i really see what you guys meant by it being a selling point because it is GORGEOUS! 😍 so happy you decided to stay ❤ Also that pool roof is genius, *takes notes* 🙏🏼
Dilly dallying is something I always heard growing up and I'm born and raised in Ireland so I'm guessing it's come from your Irish heritage. The girls are so beautiful! Little Felicity is getting more and more like her big beautiful sister! xx
Jessica! So glad you tried yoga again! I just got into it this year and I love it! I’m a teacher and my school district paid for a 3-year membership for their employees as part of our health and wellness program. I’m forever grateful to them because it helped make my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum so much easier! P.S. “Lolly-gagging” is my choice of word for procrastinating. Not sure how it came to be coming from an Asian household, but I guess being from Texas drew it out of me. 😅 BUT thank you, because now I have another word to switch it up with once I get bored. 😂
amen for the Hoka’s!!!! just got my first pair a few months ago (the Arahi 6’s) and i’m obsessed with them🤍 they’re the best running partner i’ve ever had. Also, i’m SO PROUD of you for how you’re teaching Gigi self-confidence and how to be brave. you’re such a beautiful soul and mama. love you buckets & loads💛🥰🙏🏻
I was literally just looking on your channel for a video to watch, perfect timing ❤️ My family’s version of dilly dallying is lollie gagging…ah the Midwest
I LOVE my Hokas!! I have so many pairs lol My husband has planters fasciitis and I’ve always had lower back issues due to standing 12+ hours a day. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had
I teach hot vinyasa and hatha, I definitely recommend drinking something like coconut water and working to slow the breath during those classes. For me, the hatha is harder bc that’s where I incorporate the long holds, but it’s different for everyone :) it’s a great addition to an active lifestyle, we get a lot of runners or people who lift, since it’s a great mix of strength, cardio, and mobility
Have you tried the Frooze Balls from thrive market? They are sooo good. Vegan and plant based, but so tasty. The chocolate hazelnut and PBJ are my favorite!
Hatha yoga is gentler & typically "easier". It's where I recommend people start. It's really great for learning breath work (breathing with body movement & poses). Best class I've ever taken was at a gym, but it really all depends on the instructor. I can't do hot yoga, heat literally makes me pass out lol (not exaggerating). Yep my family (from MN) says dilly dallying, lolly gagging, etc. and I love your channel, vlogs, sit down, love it all!! You & your sweet family are such a breath of fresh air. You bring so much joy to my life.💖
Dilly dally is normal to say!! It’s even in iPhone’s dictionary. Thanks for sharing Zoka. My daughter runs 10 miles every morning, does marathons every couple months, did a Spartan race Sunday, has a marathon in three more weeks, and she’s doing the Honolulu marathon in December. I was actually surprised if their cost. I don’t think you’ve purchased running shoes for awhile. Their about average and she goes through a pair about every three months or 3,000 miles. Excited to see what she thinks!!
How are you liking the Hokas? I tried them once before and I feel like I need to go back to them. Using Brooks currently and those are pretty good but I need more of a softer bounce
Can u give us an update on the Hoka shoes? Did you like them? I suffer w plantar fasciitis/fallen arches. People have recommended these to me. Just can’t decide. lol
I have been using bentonite clay in my homemade diaper cream since my first was born. Never thought about using it as a mask. Also just purchased a pair of Hokas today!
Hi Jess I’m in Australia and I say dilly dally all the time. Could you please tell me what lipstick your wearing while you are doing your thrive market haul?
Those sneakers are great. If you go to a running store or a feet store. They can tell you which are the best style for you. The brooks ghost are also great. I have both. They are pricey but worth. Hookas sadly dont last as long as they should if your a dedicated walker or runner
I have heard dilly Daly but I have used Hemming and Hawing around because of the book: Who moved my cheese? which was a book we were required to read in a Psychology class. It has stuck with me since that class.
I just got those same Hoka's and I love them. Super comfortable. I also enjoy incorporating Yoga into my weekly routine. It is excellent for so many reasons, including helping with balancing hormones. I do not enjoy HOT Yoga, however. Like you, I don't do heat like that very well. Great job, Jessica!
Dilly dally is a legit and great phrase that is not used enough. Gen Z needs to bring it back - they brought back bamboozled so they can do dilly dally! 🤣
They also brought back "anywhooo" lol
I’m gen z and grew up saying that lol
I use dilly dally at least once a week
Yesss dilly dally AND lolly gagging ~Gen X here and I say a lot of phrases that get me funny looks. On another UA-camrs video I said AH is crazier than a sh*t house mouse and ppl hadn’t ever heard that before lol 😂
@@aleigha9141 also gen xer here and I say sh!thouse rat lol!
I grew up in a lolly-gagging type of family rather than dilly dally lol. And I love my hokas! I wear them to work every day
haha ive used both. growing up latina we never used that word but i was a reader and enjoy using odd sounding phrases/words
My family both dilly dallyed and lollygagged 🤣🤣
I can't get over how your backyard casually has that view, hope you never take it for granted, some of us could never even 👁👄👁
“Tyler, my husband” - love it! Not to be confused with the other Tylers
Haha 😂
Your skin and makeup during the thrive part …so pretty. Matte eye is nice. Would love to know that lip combo!
I came to say the same thing! So pretty
Same! The base makeup looks so fresh and natural
Same thoughts! Jess, PLEASE share what you're wearing on your entire face! Eyes, cheeks, and lips lol you look gorgeous 🥰
When Jess uploads a vlog, I know it’s gonna be a good day!
I’m so glad you tell her it’s okay to be nervous but still do it!
Your makeup on Monday looked breathtaking 🥰🤩 absolutely perfect 😍
I thought the same and came to see if anyone else noticed. I was hoping to find out the lipstick, I loved it.
It is a great idea to let Gigi know it's ok to be nervous.... to this day i tell my daughter (now 25) when she's scared or nervous that Bravery Is Not The Absence Of Fear
Jess, I love how you’re so real. If we knew each other, we would be besties. There is no way we could get around it. It would just happen. Lol
Haha same.
Those knobs seriously upgraded that vanity. I feel like the "crystal" ones made it look cheap in comparison to these newer ones 😊
Oh my word! What lip combo are you wearing during your thrive market haul?!
I can totally feel your pain Jessica. My husband and I actually have to take our down comforter to the dry cleaners because it's too big for a washer and dryer at home. You are looking so pretty with the pink eyeshadows & lipsticks! It really works with your coloring!!!
Love the music and editing in this vlog! Feels fresh

It can become hard to relate to them when they act like their life is never spent at home nor with their families. Anyway, this one was fun. I hope you have a lovely rest of your week!
I love my Hokas! I got both of their running and recovery shoes. Definitely an investment but so worth it.
I love my Hoka’s too! I’ll have to check out the recovery shoes! 👀
I love the recovery sandals from hoka. That’s all I wear now all summer for my problem feet
I’ve always said Dilly Dally because my parents said it growing up. They also said we’ll be there in “two shakes of a lambs tail.” That one really freaks people out when I say it around literally anyone. 🤣
Totally use dilly dally! Also, i called my daughter a raggamuffin the other day and my husband was like WHAT!!? He never heard of that word !
I have 2 daughters, one in college & one in high school. They both got the exact same pair of Hokas. They love Hoka & the color scheme was just what they wanted.💖
I am on my second pair of Hoka’s. I love them! The are so comfy.
I immediately added that beef jerky to my thrive cart! I love your thrive hauls and I look forward to them thank you Jessica
Y'alls backyard is so lovely. I love seeing people enjoying their backyards!
😍 so happy you decided to stay ❤

Love seeing your beautiful smile, makes me so happy! 😊
I’ve been wearing Hokas for running for a few years and I love them! I don’t want to try anything else!
Dilly dallying is something I always heard growing up and I'm born and raised in Ireland so I'm guessing it's come from your Irish heritage. The girls are so beautiful! Little Felicity is getting more and more like her big beautiful sister! xx
We say it all the time in Australia too. I have heritage from Ireland, England and Scotland, but I feel like everyone here would know what it means.
Yeh same I’m from Ireland too and thought straight away that’s a very Irish thing to say 😂I say it all the time
never thought it was from my irish heritage, i mentioned I thought it was a regional US thing, never knew it was said elsewhere. so cool to find out
I'm a thrive member because of you.. I'm obsessed.. I'm ordering every 2 weeks.. love it!!!
JESS!! I have a new vanity from Wayfair too and my knobs do the SAME THING!! Glad to know I can easily change them!
Just recently found your page & I’m loving the content as a first time mom to a 3 month old. And your Pinocchio reminds me of my sweet Molly ❤️
Jessica! So glad you tried yoga again! I just got into it this year and I love it! I feel like you and taylor wynn just constantly take each other’s suggestions and i love it lol
I've been a Hoka girl for about 10 years. LOVE them! Can't wear anything else!
Same! My fiance got me hooked! He has boots, shoes, slip-ons, slides...they are the only thing he wears. lol
Hi Jess! Love your vlogs 💗
Those cookies fr thrive are what I legit get everytime! So good!

My family’s version of dilly dallying is lollie gagging…ah the Midwest
Jess! I need to know the lip combo you have on during the thrive portion of this video! It looks amazing
OMLantaaaaa, I just bought the exact same Hoka’s a week ago! Same color everything. They are incredible and worth the $! 💞
I LOVE my Hokas!! I have so many pairs lol My husband has planters fasciitis and I’ve always had lower back issues due to standing 12+ hours a day. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had
My family uses "dilly dally" too! Love your vlogs Jessica!
I love the editing! So good.

I’m loving the little aesthetic shots within the vlog (tbh I always love your vlogs) ♥️
I love the fally makeup and shirt, cozy colors
Loved seeing Tyler try the thrive market snacks.
Try regular yoga soon! I’m not a fan of heated yoga but non heated classes are so relaxing overall. As well as super beneficial 😍
What’s the eyeshadow you’re wearing?? 😍😍😍
Love my hoka’s best shoes ever!
Dilly dally is normal to say!! It’s even in iPhone’s dictionary. Thanks for sharing Zoka. Try the ACV with the clay. It’s amazing. One of my favorite masks EVER!
How are you liking the Hokas? I tried them once before and I feel like I need to go back to them. Using Brooks currently and those are pretty good but I need more of a softer bounce
Yes to dilly dally! Felicity is so precious!
Monday, Tuesday makeup….beautiful! ❤️

I have been using bentonite clay in my homemade diaper cream since my first was born. Never thought about using it as a mask. Also just purchased a pair of Hokas today!
Oh no way i didn't know it could be used for the baby too! Thank you 💕
Okay with the jazzed up outro!! 😍🤩✨🎶
I'm glad Pinocchio is feeling bwetter 😁 Love how you talk to Pinocchio ❤️
Hey girly! Where did you get your necklace??
I been wanting one with my son’s initial and husband but i dont know where to look for :)?
Hi Jess I’m in Australia and I say dilly dally all the time. Could you please tell me what lipstick your wearing while you are doing your thrive market haul?
I’m thinking about getting hokas…let us know how you like them!
I love my hokas!!! So glad you like yours too!
You got me hooked on the Nike Pegasus years ago and I found the same issue with them recently. I also switched to Hoka and I got a pair of brooks
Hokas are the only running shoes I will wear. Once I tried my first pair I was hooked!
I love how your hair looks in the half up, half down style 😊
What eye shadow are you wearing in the thrive section? That light brown is soooo pretty!
may i ask what eyeshadow you wear at the end of the vlog? it is sooo pretty
On the subject of snacks, here to recommend the meijer brand cinnamon honey roasted almonds. Obsessed!
I work 11-hour days on my feet and LOVE my Hokas. They save me from pounding on the concrete floors of the veterinary clinic.
Love your makeup in the Thrive portion, what products did you use?
1) dilly dally is definitely a phrase and I use it often
2) I wear Hokas as a Healthcare professional and I love them
You Faced your Fear! Go girl!
Jess great vlog! Your lip look is great. What did u use?
💚
Love your vlogs! Fav videos of yours!
Love your vlogs
Those sneakers are great. If you go to a running store or a feet store. They can tell you which are the best style for you. The brooks ghost are also great. I have both. They are pricey but worth. Hookas sadly dont last as long as they should if your a dedicated walker or runner
Only gym shoe I wear Hokas best ever recommended by my dr for my feet!
I use my flat foundation brush to put on face masks. I don’t use it for foundation so I’m glad I was able to find a use for it.
Will you be doing a review on the new Ulta 21 days of beauty?
Your complexion during the Thrive Market portion is🔥 😍
Hey Jess, for next video can u recommend some workout clothes? 😃
I have heard dilly Daly but I have used Hemming and Hawing around because of the book: Who moved my cheese? which was a book we were required to read in a Psychology class. It has stuck with me since that class.
I'm gen x and always heard dilly dally growing up. Also from midwest (IL).
Hey, Tyler put those lights up that he was messing with last winter! COOL!
Hi Jessica. Can you please share more about your makeup space?.I need the inspiration to help me organize my things. Thank you
