I’ll never forgot a few years ago my dad was losing sleep because my chihuahua Daisey kept waking him up every night for months straight. One day my dad suffered an accident at work and broke his ribs and had to go for testing and the doctor told him he needed a sleep study because he snored when he was at the hospital overnight for treatment. During his sleep study he stoped breathing 21 times in one hour. The doctor told my dad he would need one of those breathing machines to help him breathe at night. He then asked my dad if we had any dogs and he said yes and that Daisey would paw him awake at night and had been doing it for months. She was alerting him that he stopped breathing. After he used the machine she stopped waking him up so frequently during the night. Animals are amazing, and we miss Daisey dearly.

Dogs really are angels, my dog is normally quiet, relaxed, usually prefers to sleep most of the day rather than play with toys or running around, hes a very lazy dog. A couple months ago I heard my dog going crazy, he was barking and whining hysterically in the other room which is rare for him, so I got up quickly to check what was happening, he was whining and pawing at my dads side and licking his face, my was overdosing on cocaine that was laced with something ( He doesnt touch anything anymore, that moment scared him sober) I was able to call an ambulance and get him treated very quickly, if it weren't for my lil chihuahua shitzu, I might not have ever been able to see or speak to my father again.

Crows are smart than any animal, I still remember when my uncle said story, when he was yunger he accidentally kill one crow, after that whenever he pass those farm, crows follow him and attacked on him, and it’s going on 5 years till then he got a job and he left village
I worry about this all the time. Humans think other humans who don't speak thier language are dumb (goes both ways). Imagine that with us not understanding animal, what if they could evolve and be smarter by weare just a dominant as heck species.
the problem here is already calling them "animals". we all are just a bunch of cells working together for the benefit of it and to resist harmfull things better. so if needed these cells can "learn" how to interact with other things in a specific way to achieve a specific goal.
This is actually hugely evident with push buttons given to dogs and cats. They are shown that pushing a specific button that makes a specific sound (word) means something. For instance, pressing food will get them food. Pressing toy will get them a toy. Outside will let them outside. It gets more complex to the point they combine buttons to try and convey what they want or how they feel. It seems a lot of the time it could just be the language barrier. After all, aside from being able to talk to each other, we also teach all this accumulated knowledge to each other. If a human was to grow up without language and wasn't taught anything, it would appear to have the same intellect as an ape. I wonder what would happen if you taught a simple language to a cat or dog from a very early age and then taught it things like math and physics. There are animals more known for their intelligence of course, but I'd be interested to see it done on animals not recognised for higher intellect.
@@sugarkitty2008 " If a human was to grow up without language and wasn't taught anything, it would a pure to have the same intellect as an ape." Well who taught the first humans? Why did we evolve into the dominant species without anyone teaching us? Why didn't we stay Apes in the same way a cat stays a cat?
@@sugarkitty2008 they only understand these words because we directly connect these words with sth multiple times. we humans learn new words pretty fast with basic words weve been teached and the more words we know the easier it gets. also animals only learn nouns and verbs. so while a human can describe a word to teach it to another human you cant describe a word to a dog (you cant teach them just by speaking). and we humans also dont even need to have witnessed the meaning of the word. this is just the difference in intelligence.
It irritates me how most humans think we are so special when it comes to intelligence. People asuming animals are stupid and unaware and use that excuse to justify using them how we want. Animals are smarter than we give them credit for. Just observe them rather than assume and you'll notice many simularities
@@thiswasnotaneasyfixsalbei4286 I am always amazed at how the advice we give others is that which we so desperately need to hear, ourselves. Shut your own mouth, DaRLiNg. All you did was prove I was, in fact, that I *WAS* talking to you.
Exactly. Humans seem to forget that we are animals as well and not nearly as different (besides our stupidity and selfishness) than other animals. The only thing that really makes us different is our ability to choose. When other animals kill, breed, etc., it's all because of instinct. They can't choose not to follow those instincts. We make the choice to kill, keep having sex and popping out kids, harming the earth, etc. When an animal has the choice to not do something harmful yet still does, to me that shows lack of intelligence.
@@englishatheart which means most animals have extreme intelligence like the lions or wolves who choose their attacks. Most people can make sense of that but some can’t seemingly
I had 2 cats that were feral-born brothers. One figured out that by jumping from a bench on the porch onto some loose floor planks, I'd hear it and open the door for him. The other figured out how to tell me he wanted treats...... he figured out that if he tapped my lips with a paw, I'd know what he was asking for. The fact they were brothers seemed to be the reason even in late life they'd learn from watching each other. Yeah....... lots of patting my lips from both of them. When they wanted my attention, they'd sit with their backs to me, occasionally turning their heads to check if I'm aware. And in countless occasions for countless reasons, they also figured out that if they stared at something, even if it was a doorway, I'd figure it out. Cats are phenomenally intelligent.

What most people need to realize is the fact that when it comes to the crows story, who is crows know exactly what they’re doing, and remember anyone that gives them any type of kindness or food to help them survive. And regardless, even if you’re sitting in your car, they will recognize the color of the car in your own face as well. So if you end up trying to feed a random black crow in your own city or state, just be vigilant that they actually care about the fact that you can be there for them. And eventually you can make the same kind of friendship like a little girl did. It may be harder for an actual adult to do it because the sheer size of yourself over a little girl is not as menacing to the crows because, you’re just a bigger person and that could be scary for the crows. And it makes me happy to at least be able to feed two different types of animals during that time which are crows and actual ground squirrels or tree squirrels which don’t hibernate. So when I am able to give out free peanuts that I buy for myself, or even get an extra lunch on purpose, filled with rice, carrots, eggs, and also green beans put on top of it even if it’s chicken, the crows love it, and the rest of the birds eat it on top of the fact that the squirrel eats it as well. I have supplied them with so much food over the last year. It makes me happy to watch those animals come back one year to the next when they don’t show up during the coldest times of winter, what makes me happy is being able to give that kind of love to those who are so innocent, regardless of not being human, but the fact is, they are just random animals, looking for an opportunity to eat, and if I give that to them even without a handshake, it makes my day better.❤
Love that use as humans always assumed we are above all other animals and yet as time goes on and we study them more, they’re only proving to be more and more intelligent.
The cat reminds me of my own. When I first got her, my cat was purchased with the intent to be my service animal. (She's no longer my service animal cause she has feline herpes and is just to old to be tolerant of strangers, but) one day I fell in the shower, and hit my head on the faucet. (I ended up breaking my tub from this too, I didn't know till later,) and at the time, I was out cold. I came to from my cat on my chest, screaming in my face- with the water still flowing. My hair had got caught in the drain and clogged it, and the water was dangerously close to my mouth and nose. When she saw me wake up, she instantly jumped out of the shower and stayed near by to make sure I was up. She saved my life that day. Now, she'll sit in the bathroom on the counter and wait for me to get out of my shower.
@@tateyannaw.6063 exactly what it sounds like 🤷🏻♂️. Most animals have their own form of herpes but dont worry feline herpes isnt transferrable to humans. Crows are ridiculously smart. There was an experiment where they left a crow in a office room and in the desk there was a long tube with a peanut in the botton. Of course the crows beak was too short to reach the peanut, so it jumped around for a few minutes until it found paper clips. Tje crow then proceded to unroll the paper clip until it was molded into a hook. Then it used the hook to get the peanut. They are amazing.
I saw some crows near the local grocery store playing the other day - normally each pair has their own territory, but if they aren't hungry or nesting they will go to a neutral territory, generally one with a steep hill because it does interesting things to the air currents. There they do stunt flying - plunging down and pulling up at the last moment, flying upside down for a few seconds, passing an object from foot to beak or from one bird to another in midair - it's fascinating. There's a video here on UA-cam of crows playing in a similar way if anyone wants to see.
Enjoy the video friends!

"What if all animals understand a lot more than you think they do"
This statement is extremely on point.

Exactly. Humans seem to forget that we are animals as well and not nearly as different (besides our stupidity and selfishness) than other animals. The only thing that really makes us different is our ability to choose. When other animals kill, breed, etc., it's all because of instinct. They can't choose not to follow those instincts. When they wanted my attention, they'd sit with their backs to me, occasionally turning their heads to check if I'm aware. @@edenlost4074 who cares there just animals they were made to die
Still not even comparable to us though, although we do underestimate them
The cat reminds me of my own.

The bears think (know) that they're kings. They stand up and wave, then the whole pack of humans goes crazy and feeds them. 😂
