- The test server for Operation Deadly Omen is here, and I hopped on to check out the new operator Deimos, ACOGs finally being back (Ash ACOG?!), as well as all the new changes and additions it brought to the game. I've seen some people saying Deimos is OP, so in this video I briefly give my thoughts on him.

Jason ‘Beaulo’ Doty joined TSM in June 2019 as a part of the organization’s first Rainbow Six Siege team. He is the team’s flex player, playing a wide variety of operators to fit whatever is needed for the map. Over the past few years, Beaulo became well known by many as a content creator, featuring his precise aim and overaggressive play on stream and UA-cam while he could not officially compete due to age restrictions. His entry into the pro scene has come with a fair amount of hype, with many of his fans hoping to see him succeed in the Rainbow Six League.

Lmao, if they did a 'reveal' video like what MW3 did with who Ghost was and it was Lewis Capaldi. They do that with Deimos and its Beaulo.
I love watching good siege players. They play with such confidence. Even on attack. And I recently started doing it and I’ve noticed it’s gotten me more kills. Not necessarily running in with good aim

Jackal still needs a nerf where the entire team can’t see the ping. Deimos maybe could use a buff where he doesn’t reveal himself when he scans someone or he only pings himself once at the start of the hunt.

Balance idea! What if he only gets one mag per person he hunting. Example once he targets someone he only has those 6 shots once those are gone he can’t reload or switch guns without losing track of them also I think they need to limit the amount to 2 tracks per round

Idk, Deimos to me seems like a late round op that doesn't benefit the team as a whole. I bet he'll be popular as a solo op, at a comp level I can't see him being picked over Jackal or Lion. His gadget says entry but his loadout says support but I would see him being a comp viable op if it was a global ping to the team. If it WAS a global ping I think that alone would drastically increase his viability for higher tier use whether for roam clear or again late round plant denial. He's still powerful in a 1v1 but again he's a selfish op that is outclassed in loadout and gadget use by Jackal and Lion. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong like how everyone thought Solis would be low impact, but I do think he would break the mid-attacker streak that the game has been experiencing if he had a global ping.
Deimos is useful for a team as long as you aren't solo queuing which shouldn't be happening anyway
@@justinambroselli3462 you're not wrong, calls will definitely bridge that disconnect. But again Jackal and Lion both have global pings already, so while calls are certainly necessary for a group to work, it seemed to be an odd nerf to attach to Deimos
@@ramonperez5365 they had to add that nerf otherwise him being able to track anybody in the map no matter where they are would be way too op. I think Deimos is one of the most balanced ops they've had on release in a long time
@@justinambroselli3462 yeah but also you could nerf elsewhere. duration of the live ping, number of charges, recharge time, etc. just a thought experience i guess, op is already out
@@ramonperez5365tbh he seems quite balanced, his scan is about 15-20 seconds I think and he doesn't get all his scans immediately so it's beneficial to not just tunnel vision as an entry fragger as deimos. I'd say he's top 20-30 of all ops if not a little lower
Deimos has ALOT and I mean ALOT of FLAWS/CONS AND! Has way ti much hand holding for other team waaay weaker version of jackal and in need for some touch ups on his Gadget

Nah he literally explainedh is reasoning in the video. Jackal has pings for the entire team and can also find out the precise location of people with footsteps and deimos also pings himself to balance out the wallhack.

It’s genuinely irritating that pc gets everything way before console. Like is it not easier to have all platforms in the test servers to test it out
I don’t remember the exact wording but there is a reason why they don’t add the test server to console, it’s something like you would have to update your game everytime and something optimization something with Sony and Microsoft, it’s basically inconvenient for them to do that
