Hey gang, we we recorded every bit of the game play you are seeing days before the game actually came out. So we've already beaten it. So while your advice on how to find items won't help us now - I simply ask you be patient. The pay off over the next couple of episodes is incredible. You can't even imagine how much you will enjoy the outcome. Hang in there, and clench those butts a bit longer :)
I was like that when they missed the I think Strong Chemicals in the incinerator room. They are UNDER the table but you have to crouch to get them. Those could have come in handy to help kill all those molded in the last video. This is one reason why I think they should have used the Psychostimulants much earlier as they would have seen it right away as the basement section has MANY hidden items. I know it's their 1st playthrough, but in games like this where items are limited, you REALLY have to explore as you could find that 1 item to really help make the next section easier. I'm sure if they played this again or played it on Madhouse, they would do that. (Sidenote: I love playing on Madhouse. It was challenging to beat it the 1st time. Using various starts used in speed runs (like guard cancel the backend of the reloading and healing animations help out A LOT).
I like how Jirard and Davis actually try to search for items because they're unsure if they've found them all and just as they are about to finally find the Scorpion Key both Alex and Jesse go "Let's reload, there's nothing here anyway.". Also that strangely ironic "I think we've been very good about finding items so far." while they are still running around with the pistol 2 episodes after they should have gotten the shotgun xD
Jonathan Guzman He says as he fails to realise he has missed about 150 bullets worth of ammo, about 5 herbs, 5 antique coins, 2 first aid bottles, 4 chem fluids, THE SCORPION KEY, THE M37 SHOTGUN, THE REPAIR KIT and THE M21 SHOTGUN ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPONS IN THE GAME....... I love this lets play but these guys need to get their shit together. I just wish they hadn't pre recorded it so we could tell them how DUMB THEY'RE BEING.
FranklinaFlick Haha I'm not flipping out, it's just a little frustrating but I understand that it's their play through but I played through it and I just get a little twitchy when they miss stuff, you understand?
Made_In_Heaven88 I have a similar problem with my ascent. It sucks because one person thinks your from England, another from New York and others from Arkansas. It get annoying real fast.
it's bugging the shit out of me not because she's switching it, but because she didn't care enough about the paycheck she got to keep her character consistent.
I can't wait to see their reactions when they get to the end of the game and it turns out that grandma isn't a single old lady who mysteriously teleports around the house, there's just an entire horde of identical wheelchair-bound old ladies.
The only positive thing is after they get the Snake Key, they would be FORCED to go through that area later on. Of course, by that point, their inventory will probably be VERY full and I think will have some 4 legged molded to deal with. (Not entirely sure if they show up on normal mode at this spot as I usually play on Madhouse most of the time now.)
I sit by my computer every night waiting for this to upload. Thank you guys. Scary Game Squad is literally the only gaming-related videos I ever watch, but I love everything about them. Thanks!
Ethan Stephens I really like Scary Game Squad, but it's just really frustraiting, my first instinct after reading "this door opens from the oder side" i went looking for a way to open the shortcut, and it's pretty obvious if you can open the weird blue gate.
I'm saying. Every other play through I've watched has (eventually) come across the blue/green gate and actually got the shotgun. Crazy and wildly hilarious at the lack of focus and memory of the group lol
Davon85J Yeah, Also they aren't 100% focus on the game in the sections of mindless walking around, Like talking about cheese etc... But they are dysfunctional group.
I am literally addicted to these videos. I watch them as soon as they're uploaded and when I finish I honestly crave it until the next video. I find myself staying up, knowing you guys post them in the AM. Is this how crack heads feel? Anyways don't mind me, keep up the good work guys
Justin Kroboth let me guess: was it the part about running through the entire house in a final chase sequence? Because that's a very common horror game trope
Connor was here Nah, it wasn't that. I don't want to be specific because I don't want something getting spoiled for someone, but I felt compelled to remark on it because I was caught so off guard, hah.
Prophecyarmour i feel like if they keep on going they will never get the shotgun and the fact that 1 dude said he had the shotgun it just blows my fucking to the brink 😭🔫
My dog growled at his toy really deep and kind of quiet right behind me at a suspenseful part and I think I may have pooped. I turned around so goddamn fast to make sure it wasn't a monster that I scared the crap out of him. xD
"Now, Davis, it's best with the flamethrower if you spam it gently-" "Feather it?" "Yes, exactly." *minutes later while destroying nests Davis holds down the button as it burns effectively achieving nothing and using all his fuel*
who else is dumbfounded by thier logic one of them said earlier that he remembered having the shotgun before the chainsaw fight + shotgun amunition was found around that same area + shotgun in trap room + saw another shotgun in a room behind a scorpion door = scorpion key must be somewhere past the curberus door???!!!!!
The logic is later backtracking, so they assume it's all for later stuff., many games does that too, gives you items early for no reason, other then sometimes really hidden stuff that you can get later easily in the game too.
+Jaws Trock That makes zero sense because Jirard already specifically said he remembered having the shotgun by now, this is before the chainsaw boss fight. That was a clear giveaway that they should have the shotgun already, not something to backtrack to get later. lol.
You guys are amazing *hugs* thank you for giving me this. I can't do scary games or movies but I do love the stories. Thank you for playing this because I wouldn't have been able to get through it by myself.
Im so fucking mad right now! I am going insane watching these dudes fumble through the game, totally missing the scorpion room like 15 fucking times! AND they're giving each other pats on the back for how clever and thoroughly they go about searching the fucking house and they CANT FIND THE FUCKING DOOR RIGHT IN-FRONT OF THEM - EVEN WITH MEDS!!!
Depending on where you're from blue cheese may or may not be a European thing. No idea what America's like when it comes to cheeses besides that processed one that's ONLY good for burgers. I wouldn't say blue is the best cheese though (It's obviously cheddar), but it's not as bad as it looks :P
With the reveal that Lucas was not being controlled and was instead trying to conduct the experiment/keep Eveline slightly under control, the line "Don't just stand there, do something!" makes a lot more sense... I think he's literally trying to tell Ethan to do something to save Mia since Eveline would be able to tell if Lucas stopped acting crazy.
"Step off our grills" -Jirard, the guy who already played this game & had the shotgun already & even realized this but didn't help them find it. Shit cracks me up, this playthrough is truly one of a kind.
I _would_ like to point out that the scorpion key for the shotgun was in the basement/processing area, but the next four episodes are probably done during the same session so..
The only thing that grinds my gears is not the fact that their going slow, or the fact that the constantly miss the scorpion key gate, but the fact their inventory is constantly full of useless items just drives me Insane every time they open their inventory.
I'm so happy of this cheese. It's like a full plate of most spicy, smelly, most expencive cheeses, that just melt in your mouth. And a side plate of delisious pickled cheese. With a pile of grilled cheese sandwiches. And a fondue
Them talking about possible disposing of items in exchange for that chem pack so close to an item box just killed me inside. So glad they didn't waste.

will do, looking forward to yalls gameplay/
Jesse Cox Let the butt clenching commence \(°-°)/
No worries Big JC, I'm lovin the heck out of this series
i know you beat it already but when you guys pass the green sliding door like 5 times i get so grumpy T_T and you guys are like wheres this key :c
You Sir are the g.o.a.t.
keep on keeping on!

p_stain Ja feel.
It hurts every time they go by the door you get the scorpion key at. They're so close to it just go up to it, lol.
Yeah, didn't one of them beat the game. Like he doesn't want to help them, but at least give a hint when they just aimlessly wander around lol
jirard forgot where he got it tho lol
im screaming at my fucking screen lol. davis is doing 2x the work cos he wont get the shotgun
They still never went through that blue wavy door lol Like how can you not at least walk up and investigate.
It really does hurt 😂 how they didn't even try it, just... ugh.

or the gold digger voice. :>
Didn't expect to see you here.

Yup, same here! It's Old Grandma Jesse

The ufo commander song at the end is sooo needed to unwind after a tense episode. I love Scary Game Squad!
“They’re trying to bring the girl back to life?”
“Yeah like a vessel situation.”
Damn they almost word for word predicted the 8th game lol
They don't even try the doors, they just assume they are locked...
Rochyan They don't even realize that there is a door there. They don't even recognize its existence.
Rokudo Damaza Oh shit, they're all Hosts.
Avenger_00209 What door?
The Door.
the door three doors down
I just wanna point out these four figured out the whole plot of this game so fast that they actually predicted the plot of the next game too.
Jesse "Thats how you cheese a game!" also SGS "I don't think we should save, its not a good idea"
The fact they keep missing the room with the scorpion key has me screaming internally
"I'm sure we havent missed much."
Missed a door leading to the broken shotgun and the scorpion key.
The only positive thing is after they get the Snake Key, they would be FORCED to go through that area later on.
Of course, by that point, their inventory will probably be VERY full and I think will have some 4 legged molded to deal with.

I am genuinely scared for when this game becomes a resident evil game.
Ann Riba that happens soon
Refusing to walk up he corridor to the scorpion key haha! I love it
It's like a giant blue door calling you to open it!
"Welcome to the Sun, Family!' is a criminally underrated joke
I can't belive they never got the scorpion key, didn't even try the blue gate.
Raúl Gaytán To be fair I played in VR and I totally passed it too, for like 2+hours

The spookiest part of this playthrough so far was my fear that there would be no SGS today
"I don't think we've missed that much." HAHA
Omg, you guys pass the scorpion key room 4 times?
I was kinda dumbfounded when they acquired the crow key before the scorpion key. That's like getting the beans above the frank.
Luiz Henrique If we count the deaths, mindless walking and the looting spree, I'd say they walked by the door at least 10 times.
Good thing I waited a few years to watch this after seeing a playthrough because I forgot where the key was so it saved my mind.
i like how when Jirard helps them out, comments complain. when he doesn't help them, comments complain. just fantastic.
jay Yeah, I just Sigh when I scroll through theses. Like watch fucking Markiplier or some shit and stop complaining.
lol you guys are so good at avoiding the shotgun. I am loving this series.
Thank Jesse, I didn't need to sleep, time for an hour of SGS, or davis getting frightened by menus
My dog growled at his toy really deep and kind of quiet right behind me at a suspenseful part and I think I may have pooped. I turned around so goddamn fast to make sure it wasn't a monster that I scared the crap out of him. xD
These episodes can't come out fast enough.
Amen to that!
I tried watching other youtubers but I just cant get myself to watch past SGS's progress.
I already watched DanzGaming twitch channel, it was awsome! xD
HarleyAMV normally i'd always watch horror games by a german dude named gronkh, BUT the sgs Is just too awesome so i stopped and switched over here
I'm frustrated at the absence of the shotgun but I cannot wait until they figure out HOW FUCKING HUGELY THEY FUCKED UP. Love you, SGS.
"Heres the thing, I think we are really good about finding items right now" Missing both a key and a shotgun, two pretty vital assets
This is my favorite SGS! Every episode has been awesome and hilarious!
I literally started hysterically laughing when they were congratulating themselves for "being good at finding items" while IGNORING THE DAMN DOOR.
"like moths to flames"
that's a good band!
Every time I rewatch this series I get more and more agitated when they miss that section in the basement ughhhhh
Surprise twist, the final boss is Cry with his stun stick.
So what are the betting odds now that they won't find the scorpion key before or after they find the snake key?
I love how they think they're great at finding items
"Now, Davis, it's best with the flamethrower if you spam it gently-" "Feather it?" "Yes, exactly."
*minutes later while destroying nests Davis holds down the button as it burns effectively achieving nothing and using all his fuel*
Poor Davis just wants the Shotgun XD
who else is dumbfounded by thier logic
one of them said earlier that he remembered having the shotgun before the chainsaw fight
+ shotgun amunition was found around that same area
+ shotgun in trap room
+ saw another shotgun in a room behind a scorpion door
= scorpion key must be somewhere past the curberus door???!!!!!

FlapHedge
Wonderful logic, isn't it?
The logic is later backtracking, so they assume it's all for later stuff., many games does that too, gives you items early for no reason, other then sometimes really hidden stuff that you can get later easily in the game too.
+Jaws Trock
That makes zero sense because Jirard already specifically said he remembered having the shotgun by now, this is before the chainsaw boss fight. That was a clear giveaway that they should have the shotgun already, not something to backtrack to get later. lol.
oh I know. but if he couldn't remember well, too bad for them.
"Obviously take the steroids" SGS yet again providing valuable life lessons for our youth.
Seeing their mistakes, I can't help but think there's no way they figured out the Happy Birthday puzzle
Thanks jesse cox for your let's plays of resident evil 7.

the scorpion key can be acquired before the 2nd closed room fight with "Father"

I picked a good time to refresh my sub box. (:
I'm so happy, legit been waiting all day
"We're getting all the items, yeah"

I find this game so fascinating. I'm really enjoying this playthrough.

"Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas threw up in a box" XD That's my absolute favorite quote from this channel!
You guys are brilliant. You can spot a bobble head uder atrailer's porch in the middle of the night but can't notice a blue screen door.
Love waking up at 5AM, to find this
There's a repair kit for the broken pistol under the porch
