Why is the archetype so bad, the art is so badass. I wish to have them physically just because they look awesome, but an archetype made to counter Pyro, is basically an anti snake eyes, and still bad at that.
my two senses as an Ashened player the most likely UR's are non-fusion Veidos since he is the flagship monster of the theme, Priestess as she is an omni searcher so one of the most imporant cards of the deck, and the other 2 that are possible to likely are Fusion Veidos given that its the boss monster as well as Awakening of Veidos since that card is geniuinely nuts and definetly the best spell in the Deck

That’s what I keep saying, but people seem to REALLY want it to be Mulcharmy. I guess it could happen, but I just don’t see how Mulcharmy is “nuclear.” But I guess that’s just me.

Everyone said this is literally unplayable garbage, so I was expectting the worst deck of all time, but it's honestly not THAT bad. Might build this for fun if it's not too UR heavy.
The problem is expectations. The absolutely ridiculous amount of powercreep since POTE has made what would otherwise be solid decks underpowered and "disappointing" by comparison. What would have been a midrange fun deck that could occasionally steal some wins is now powercrept before it was even released.
@@AshendalFeels like the TCG drafting process was before POTE, like they floated around the ideas for Gold Pride, Tistina, and Ashened, and for some reason didn’t bump it to extra sets worth? It’s like just two that’s it which is barely showing up. Burning Abyss and Kozmo were iconic for sticking around for long enough.

Well yeah that's guaranteed considering we are about to be wrapping up INFO by the anniversary so most likely exodia in February then we start to do ROTA which will probably give primite earlier than any shark stuff. Once the shark stuff drops I think is once blue eyes is on the table so maybe may? Possibly June?
Love the ashened art. Love the dark souls vibe. Will build it just because of that. Maybe it’ll be meta relevant one day if it gets the right support and other decks get hit. You never know
I'm betting the teased archetype is Malice. Similar situation as Mathmech where it gets released early, does a lot, and then falls back to where it otherwise would be at when Ryzeal launches and puts it in check.

If I'm being honest....Im waiting for the Millennium/Exodia cards to release in Master Duel....the Games 3rd year Aniversary is in January, and I can think of no better than to pay omage to the Original instant win monster. I mean last year, I thought they were just giving us the Og Blue-Eyes art card....I wasent expecting a Duel Mate, a Field....I mean wow. As far as the Promo royal card....if we are to Assume the "Unstopple" is going to be in a pack already...then what about the "Legendary Defender"? Yeah its Niche but still an Exodia card.
Actually, the actual celebration is always in February. I do expect Exodia support to be in the 3rd year anniversary though. First year, Konami did Dark Magician. Second year, they did Blue eyes. Third year, makes sense they they’d do Exodia and with another 2500 gem set to boot. Exodia is the last “OG” that Konami has yet to give its due yet. It makes too much sense.
@@prestonmccoy7097 Well, January or Febuary, this will likely require a version update...even though now since Snakeeyes we can place monsters in the spell and trap zones, the Exodia pieces might be another matter. I would expect the field would be inspired by wedju temple.
Shame they look so good yet are very mid cards in general, instead of destroying your opponents s/t only that fusion should wipe everything on your opp field
